I have a copy of Soylent Green.   Great movie.   :)

My cd arrived, A Dry White Season.

Sleep well, sweet dreams, stay warm and toasty.

Then I came home and I've now written a total of fourteen pages today, and I think I'm going to go for the gold and come home right after rehearsal and see if I can finish - if not finish, then at least get to the last few pages.  I'm totally in the finishing mode, though, because it's just pouring out of me.  That happened with the last Hofstetter book and with my memoir.  My final day of writing on each of those was intense - 25 pages on the Hofstetter, and about forty on the memoir.  So, we shall see.

Did we know you were working on two writing projects or have I not been paying that close attention?

I had a good work session with The Singer.  I'd written fourteen pages or before leaving.  I got home and I had only the final chapter to do.  And eight or nine pages later - I finished.  I'm totally exhausted - twenty-three pages total today.  I'm sure I'll have some smoothing out to do and some futzing and fixing to do, but I got it done and I'm hoping it's a good, satisfying ending.

I never liked Soylent Green.

It just doesn't taste right.

Actually, that is not all....I just finished watching this Rory Calhoun movie on Netflix streaming, a film I had never even heard of.

It was quite good and it had music by Albert Glasser (however, his music really did not fit this film very well)

I don't know if anyone here noticed or not, but two of THE UNTOUCHABLES died this month, within the last two weeks, in fact.

RIP Paul Picerni

and RIP Bruce Gordon
