I think I'm going to go get a red orange.   I had no idea a cara card orange was red inside until I bought it.  I like them

I, myself, feel very safe tonight in Phoenix, Arizona, knowing that Steven Seagal is on patrol fighting crime in Maricopa County.

Greetings. I'm posting from my Sony E-reader. The browser is a bit clunky but if I'm ever away from my computer and there is an avaiable network and I need a Haines fix it looks like I can do it with this. As Cilla has been known to say, Cool Beans!

Good evening, I spent most of the day in Omaha doing an asylum hearing.  I am tired, but the drive was nice. Bright sunny beautiful day.  It was 43 degrees in Omaha when I got there

Much better than had to gone on the original date. :)

DR Jane and Ginny.  I'm still reading The Lacuna.  I'm not sure why.  I think the biggest problem is I really could care a less about the main character.  I don't dislike it enough to quit reading it, but it's close

I wish you had been at my book group discussion.  I might have been the only person complaining ;D.  I really made a stink that I felt the historical parts of the novel were shouted at me instead of simply being part of the story.  I liked the main character more than you seem to.

I really am tired. I worked very hard to get ready for this hearing.  I thought it would take an hour or so, we were there from 1:00 until 4:30.  The judge said he'll announce his decision in May.  So, at least that's a few more months for my client to be here

Oh, is my previous comment regarding a different trip where you have to testify?

Well it tooka long time to dig out - interspersed as it was with trudging over to the corner to  over to the corner to help push cars out of the barrier the snow plows left across the side street

Kingsolver seems to have forgotten what subtlety is. "Prodigal Summer" was a laugh it was so stilted. When I reviewed it, I remember comparing the dialogue unfavorably to a Soviet tractor musical.

Here's a new one: suicide by bear. This was the prison escapee from last summer.

Thing is most the people in my group didn't agree with me, nor did they really understand my issue with it.

I mean, really. There are plenty of things right here in the desert that would eat you if you were dead. Like turkey vultures. Or coyotes.

I think there are too many historical things, especially since he's almost always just an observer.   I agree they really aren't part of the story.  I think they take away from getting to know the main character.   I liked him a lot at the beginnning, but I don't really care anymore.  I'll see how I feel as I keep going on

It must be.   I didn't have to go.  The guy was convicted without me
