I considered writing a letter telling him I am not currently in the position of needing burial, but that he would be the first one I'll call upon my demise.

And afterr eating all that darn oatmeal!

Yes, you are usually out of here by 7 p.m. or earlier.

I've heard Guy Haines is a private person, but that's ridiculous.  I think I'm through with my viewing for evening.  Maybe a nice hot shower will perk me up.

Good evening. Finally watched The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest.  It was really good.  I liked the movie better than the book.

I had to watch it in the new den because it wouldn't play on my dvd player in the living room.  Boo sat on my lap up there and acted like she hadn't seen me in years.  she's a goofy little cat.  Callie sat in her chair next to mine.  She rarely comes downstairs to sit with me.  She seemed very pleased I went up to sit with her

I liked all three of the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo movies very much - didn't read the books.

I'm feeling thick this evening with a headache lurking.  I'm just congested and full of phlegm.

I liked all three movies too.  I thought the third book had a lot of details that could have been edited.  I didn't feel that way about the third movie

Good Evening!

Well...

I'm sick. I could literally feel this cold just making it's way throughout my body over the course of the past 12 hours. Of course, if I had actually gone ahead and stayed in bed and rested today, well... But at least I had some good food today, caught up with a few friends and got to see and hear Susan Graham and Placido Domingo sing at The Met just a couple of hours ago.

And now I'm going back to bed...

Goodnight.

Then this evening The Vixter, her firend and I went to a local high school (next town over) and saw their production of Pippin

they cut the orgy scene (not surprising in a school setting) and unfortunately none of the lead females were strong singers but he Leading Player was excellent and the choreogrphy  and dancing were quite good

We had a very enjoyable time

When I think of Betty Garrett I do not think Laverne & Shirley.  How ever she is remembered she had a good 91 years of life.  RIP.

 :'(

I'd almost forgotten that she was on All In the Family and Lavern & Shirley.  I just loved her performances on the S.T.A.G.E. benefits recordings.

Unfortunately the Vixter developed a cold during the performace  (I blame Jose)  and out aftere show plans were adjourned in favor of getting her early to bed
