One of the things we discussed at the "retreat" was  making new members feel welcome and involving them inthe life of the church

I was wearing my church sweatshirt today - during the intermission the man sitting next to me mentioned that he and his family  had just joined our church 2 weeks ago (we have several worship services and they attend a different one than the one I normally attend)

We had a really lovely conversation and I was able to invite him and his family to out Valentine's pancake breakfast tomorrow

I am putting together  a new version of Disneyland sung by Jodi Benson. The last one was taken down after someone complained about it. I pretty sure it isn't wasn't the music. So this time I am using all my own photos. Maybe this time it will stay.

I am catching up on my internet surfing whilst little Cole drifts off to sleep in the guest room, which is where I am on the computer with the lights off. Makes it difficult to see the keyboard.

For dinner Cole had chicken nuggets shaped like Mickey Mouse and brocolli. He really likes his brocolli and I enjoyed eating the leftover Mickey Mouse chicken nuggets.

We did not watch TOY STORY 3 because Katie and Brian forgot to bring it over, which was OK because as soon as Cole walked into the apartment, and after greeting Freddy, he only wanted to watch THE GUMBY MOVIE. So we did.

Afterwards we watched BLONDIE GOES LATIN. Well, I watched it, Cole played with the fisher price car garage only looking at the TV when Baby Dumpling was on screen.

Off to sleep, yard work tomorrow, early.

Today was laundry, recycling, trash, general clean up the messiness, and stuff like that.

The sky was so beautiful again tonight, it just feels like you can reach up and touch the stars.

By the way (BTW). son Jed auditioned for SWEENEY TODD this past week.  This would be the first time he was able to do a show since he changed jobs at the library.

Break Legs Vibes for Jed!  Paul (the guy who played General Mills last year) also auditioned.

Today, I have done nothing but watch TV...two hours each of "Who Do You Think You Are?" (Lisa Kudrow and Vanessa Williams) and "Antiques Roadshow," and one episode each of "How I Met Your Mother," "The Big Bang Theory," "Modern Family," "Mr. Sunshine," "No Ordinary Family," "V" and "Off the Map."  That's a lot of TV watching...even for me.
