Thanks again, everyone for your birthday wishes.  Yesterday, the DP and I went on a little road trip and spent some time together.  It was quite fun.  Soon, I'll fill you in on Sunday's affair. it was quite exciting. But for now, I'm off to the SF Archdiocese to learn more about the new translation of the missal that will go in effect (YIKES!) on the first Sunday of Advent this year.

Yes, DR TCB - so many young actors for those parts are impossible to work with.....of course what's great is that a lot of them know EVERYTHING about acting, theatre, scripts, props, and costumes, that working with them can be a great education.

They do everything but listen.

Kenny is one of the rare exceptions.  And he is very funny.

DR George re: your DVR. Can you check it to see what is supposed to record?

Mine also sometimes decides on its own not to record things. But (mine is a PVR) I can double check it.  If i go to the guide i can see if the show is highlighted in red. IF so it means it will record.

Mine sometimes decides not to record if a) they change the title (like top chef vs top chef allstars). Or if i have a show programed as from 8-9pm (sometimes if they change the time by a couple of minues it will not record which is why i mostly just put "record this show whenever it is on").

So i usually make sure the shows i want to record are highlighted in red.

Btw, you can watch the first 10 minutes of Castle online i'm sure.

MR BK forgot the famous Cole Slaw song that was covered so memorably by Flatt & Scruggs:

"There's An Empty Hanger In My Closet Tonight, Since You Took the Shirt Off My Back"

And Slaw's near miss pop tune:   "Pink Shoes and Tan Shoelaces."

I never cared for Cole Slaw but I enjoyed the television series of his brother, Burke.

Very true. Jrand.  When I started out in community theater it was in bit parts and in the chorus.  Nowdays, this crop of actors want to start with leading roles or nothing at all.  There is no learning their craft.  They know it all.

in fact it would be nice if my upstairs bathroom had heat

I'm shivering at the thought.

Kitty likes the heated floor so much we leave it on at night for her.  Our bathroom, which also has heating under the cold tile is turned down very low at night.

I have a photographer coming this morning to duplicate the photo that was used in the recent Austin American-Statesman article.

I want to use it on the back cover of my next book.

I tried to buy the rights to the original from the newspaper, but they were asking a "fortune".
They have to make money somehow, and since they aren't making it off newspaper sales ...

I read on imdb that her version of "Master Class" is in post-production. Wonder when it will be released.

A few years back I contacted a guy who lived across the street from me in high school (no crush-just a nice catholic boy).  The guy kindly called me back and had no recollection of me, nor did his sister I was also friends with.  He did remember my sexy next door neighbor-lol.
