Good.  Vibes your shoulder doesn't hurt this afternoon!!   I too would prefer to do the crawl instead of the breast stroke.  Only time will tell if my right shoulder can ever do that motion again.  My therapist said he can't increase the stretch of my arm & shoulder.  I am better than most people who have had the same surgery.

I can do the movement (of front crawl) and it doesn't kill. It just doesn't feel right. I kept having to rub my arm.

Best to wait until your shoulder feels better.  I still prefer my lopsided crawl to doing the breast stroke.

I filled seven garbage bags. I need to get more bags.

I hope you're not putting yard waste in those bags, young lady! Yard waste must be put in biodegradable bags or composted (At least out here).

Some poor women in the neighboring town had the refuse company refuse to pickup her entire trash bin because they discovered a discarded floral bouquet.

Back from Kroger, where I almost froze in the parking lot.  It's getting colder by the minute here and we were spoiled yesterday by a taste of spring.

It's so warm here I may open the windows.

I filled one more bag, and now I feel like I'm done. I had to chase a beer truck out of the church parking lot. It was on its way to the bar/trailer park next door.

DR Laura, if you wanted a beer that badly, couldn't you have just gone to the store and bought your own?

No, NO, NO! They are indigenous decorative flora which it is your civic duty to nurture.

Shh! Don't tell anyone that I plan on digging out the non-native stuff and replanting with native plants.

The beer truck was right there in our parking lot! Much closer than the store.

Actually, if it had been a Diet Coke truck, I would have demanded one.

He has to stay home when I go to PT.  I am going and will leave my phone on in case their is a sudden change in the weather.  The road was fine coming home a little while ago and I will have Keith's car.  It is good he & Craig ice picked the hilly icy stretch of our road.

Have no idea how to archive e-mails - I presumed when you put them in an AOL saved folder in Mac Mail, that they're saved.  I'm sure there are thousands in there as I save every single invoice for a CD order.

I've been printing out orders, had some lunch at the Studio Cafe, picked up two packages (a third is supposedly on a Fed Ex truck for delivery), and am back home.  Had the telephonic call, which was weird and completely unnecessary as it has nothing whatsoever to do with me or Kritzerland.  I told her that I could provide no information whatsoever to her and that it was, in fact, not cricket to even ask me to do so.  She seemed to get the drift.

Just found out the lovely news that the old helper's boyfriend, who was supposed to have shipped out all Fear and Wind orders last Friday and Saturday, hadn't even done over 100 International orders!  I am so happy he is now completely out of the picture, unless we need tracking information.  But he will never again be able to screw up anything and the new gal is conscientious and reliable - she had to spend most of today doing work that should have been done last week.

Citco is in trouble for gasoline price gouging; they're charging $4.09/gallon in the area, and the Channel 2 news found gas as low as $3.49 in other stations. I am so glad I don't own a car.

It's been a day of payment hell. i work for too many damned assholes who, for all their millions, cannot pay an invoice in a decent amount of time. What's worse, the blasted jerks won't give me a schedule that they stick to, so I am constantly at their whim. I am very very pissed at the moment and my mood wasn't lightened by receiving in today's post a health insurance notice to fork up $868 by March 9 or lose my coverage. It wouldn't be so awful if either of my two invoices were paid by today, but I don't know when either shit will send payment.

I hope they pay tomorrow, Elmore. Damn them.

The problem with my health insurance is that I cannot gamble with them: if I send them a payment tomorrow, they may not get it for two weeks. Or, if I assume this will be the case, it will arrive in two days and the check will bounce by Friday. Last year I had to stop payment on a check and hand deliver a new one on the deadline date since the original check hadn't arrived after I mailed it two weeks earlier. In January, I mailed it early and it bounced within two days of my mailing it!

While catching up on last night's posts, here are some comments:

re: the interviewers.  I watched the pre-show on E! so i didn't have to sit through crappy interviews. It was only Ryan Seacrest (who I think is very good at these types of interviews).

I thought Hailee Steinfeld looked sweet and age-appropriate. I did not like Jennifer Hudson's tangerine dress (didn't hate it just didn't like the color or the bustline). I liked Cate Blanchett's dress (pink) but didn't love it. Hillary Swank - very nice. Halle Berry -stunning!  Really liked Gwyneth Paltrow's dress. Didn't care for Nicole Kidman's dress. I really liked Natalie Portman's purple dress. And liked her hair down. Did not like her other award looks this year.

Red dresses - liked Jennifer Lawrence -simple but beautiful. Liked Anne Hathaway's red carpet dress. Sandra Bullock's was nice. But i liked the first two better. Liked Penelope Cruz's too (and she just had a baby!).

Since I recorded the show I sped through the interviews.

I liked Sandra's red dress the best.  I had mixed feelings about the bathing suit look on Jennifer though I admit she looked great in it.  I didn't care of Penelope's dress.

I thought that Penelope's dress looked much different on tv vs photos. I liked it better on the red carpet. I can't believe how different it photographed.

I actually tried something interesting for front crawl. I put my left arm straight out and kept it straight. And then just kept doing the crawl with my right arm. It was very odd, but didn't hurt my left shoulder.

I didn't feel like I was getting enough exercise that way though.

It's being reported that Jane Russell has died. She was 89 years old. Maybe I'll watch PALEFACE in her memory tonight.

Elmore, I feel your pain.  The federal government has stopped paying claims to court appointed attorneys.  Of course my claim hasn't made it that far, so it will likely be another month or two - if ever - that I get the claim for what amounts to 2 months of overhead
