TCB, if you have any trouble getting to sleep, go to www.hulu.com and watch "My Mother the Car." Works for me every time.

Two cannibals south of Perdue
eating a very nice stew
that was made from a clown,
asked as they wolfed it down
"Does this taste funny to you?"

And so, goodbye for now.

Therefore in honor of Mr. SS birthday

Yes I know, goodbye for now,
How long? ~ a year, a day?
Yes I love you, yes you're with me,
here now, next to me, and worlds away!
See I free you, and I'll see you when I see you,
fine, OK?
Goodbye for now, again
Goodbye until whenever then
We're free, that's what we said we'd be,
at leave to come an' go, you as well as I,
somehow each "hello" makes it worth "goodbye" for now!
Goodbye for now, again
Goodbye until whenever then
We're free, that's what we said we'd be,
at leave to come an' go, you as well as I,
somehow each "hello" makes it worth "goodbye" for now!
Goodbye . . . hmm . . . goodbye

One Day More..............

And since I am in a lyric quoting frame of mind and even if its not by Mr. SS
Here is:

One day more!
Another day, another destiny.
This never-ending road to Calvary;
These men who seem to know my crime
Will surely come a second time.
One day more!

MARIUS
I did not live until today.
How can I live when we are parted?

VALJEAN
One day more.

etc etc etc

Whew!  You can't buy a can of paint off the shelf anymore - you give the man - if you can find him - your color chip and he will mix it for you.

NOW - I know this is NOT NEWS to the educated hoi polloi here at HHW.....but I haven't bought paint since the 20th Century, so I really didn't know that.

Actually you can take in anything and they can match the color.  I haven't done that yet, but it's pretty cool

DR Cillaliz (or anybody else who watched), what did you think of last night's DANCING WITH THE STARS?

I was very impressed with: Karate Kid, Kirstie Alley and that Disney girl Chelsea. I"m not sure who my fav will be. But I have a feeling it might be Karina and Karate Kid.

I also like Dmitry a lot. So I may cheer for him and Petra.

DR Jennifer, haven't watched all of it yet.  I had a Friends of the Library meeting

And as previously mentioned the Broadway production of Chicago will become the 5th longest running show on Friday. But then it needs to only 178 performance more to surpace A Chorus Line which was victorious over the original produciton of Chicago. Oh how things turn.

That is roughly 22 and a half weeks of additional performances to accomplish this,

I had a friend say in an off handed way "why don't you stop by Tuesday after work for a martini".   Ok, I thought it was kind of....well it's Tuesday.  Later I found out it was her birthday so, I went over for martinis.  It was fun and I was glad to be there for her birthday.

Seattle's 5th Avenue Theater just announced their 2011-2012.

Le Miz
Saving Aimee
Cinderella
First Date
Oklahoma
Damn Yankees
Rent

Glad to see Kathee Lee Gifford is still working on "Saving Aimee." Sounded like a good premise for a musical. I hope she and her associates can pull it off.

That was nice, Cillaliz.

It wasn't just me, it was a party, but she didn't really tell anyone it was her birthday or that it was a party.   She's like that.

Hmmm weather spotter training is April 21.   I've done that in the past, but not here.  Might be kind of fun to go again.  I don't really want to be an official spotter because I don't really like being out in a tornado or severe storm, but it's nice to know what I'm looking at if I'm out in bad weather

We had rain and thunder tonight. There was a tornado about an hour south of here, but I don't think it did much damage.

I've done that -- wanted to celebrate without too much attention.
