I have a really stupid question, and since it isn't Wednesday, I will accept an answer from anyone. I finally got one of those printer / scanner / fax machines that say they can do anything. Okay, here is the stupid question...

Can I send a fax from this machine just using my regular land line, or do I have to have a separate "fax only" line put in to my place? I know nothing about faxes, except that we get a lot of them at work.

I suppose most people today have a wireless network. I probably have it too, but I have no idea how to figure that out.

You can get USB cords on eBay VERY cheaply and the cords are good. I've never had a problem with any USB/Ethernet/etc., cable...the only problem was when I wasn't paying attention and just got the wrong kind.
