One day more,
Another day, another destiny,
This never ending road to Calvary;
These men who seem to know my crime
Will surely come a second time,
One day more...

I could (watch and) listen to that part of the 10th Anniversary DVD of Le Miz a thousand times.

Actually I have already watched it one thousand times, so now the figure will have to go up.

Goodspeed is doing SHOW BOAT this summer. I don't know how they will accommodate that epic with two - count 'em 2!! - choruses on that tiny stage, not to mention 9 principals and a lot of secondary parts. I wonder if they will have to play instuments as well?

Oh, and the real reason I posted those Titanic artifacts last night was that I was testing my new printer/scanner/fax.

DR Ben, you'll never guess from whom I've had a Facebook friend request! It's not Mr Farrow.

I've been adding more shows and comments to my photo album.

Just as well, since I would have to read the chapter on sending faxes.

DR Cillaliz, I have not read any of Michael Connelly's books. Maybe DR Jane has?

Btw, have you picked your favorites yet on DWTS?

DR Jennifer, not yet.  It usually takes me a few weeks to find a favorite

yes DR CILLA LIZ wins the spontaneous award for BOTH of her events......did the new car last longer than to new husband?

New Husband lasted 14 months.   New car is at 23 months and counting.... the new car wasn't as crazy as it sounds.  It's a 2009 Prius (i had a 2005 Prius) and it's the top of the line.  Normally I wouldn't have upgraded from the basic I had to this one, but it was zero percent interest and only 7 dollars a month more than I was paying on my old car.   I'm glad I did it.   I'll probably keep this one for years and years

Amazingly well.  She's like everyone in the beginning..not 100%, but she can do the footwork and is really serious about doing it.  She's funny in a good way and Max is a good partner for her.   She classifys dances in how many pounds she can lose getting ready for it.   I was surprised how much I've enjoyed her, didnt' think I would

Today I need to do more errands, have to go to the farm and home store and buy softener salt, furnace filters and look at the patio furniture.  I won't be buying any right now, but I like to look at it.  I also like to look at the chicks and ducklings.  You can't raise them in town, but they sell them for the farmers

It's a beautiful day out, windy, but beautiful.   If the wind isn't from the wrong direction, I may sweep out the garage and start taking some of the outdoor furniture out of the garage.   I put it all in the the garage for the winter, it lasts a lot longer that way

I had some Greek yogurt for breakfast.   Man was that tart!  It was quite filling, though.  I'm going to try a couple different brands and see if there's one I like better

OH!

I know it's not Ask BK Day, but...

I recently introduced a friend of mine to Kristin Chenoweth's recording of "Lion Tamer". He's basically been listening to it non-stop for the past two days. You've mentioned that that was a "one take wonder". Was there any other "story" to that story? I thought you had posted something somewhere before, but I can't seem to Search/Google it out.

She came in and we hugged and I sent her in to do a take on her own, which is what I always do - then we listen, I give whatever notes I have and we do another and then however many takes are needed till I feel we have enough to put together a great vocal.

She sang the song - it was perfect.  Sometimes it just happens.  I got on the talkback and said, "Go home."  She came in the booth and said, "Don't you need me to do it again?"  I said, "It was absolute perfection, listen."  We played it back for her and she agreed and said, "I just sang it from the heart."  I said, "You should sing everything from the heart, then."  I let her do another take just so she could, but she knew the first one had the heart and the magic.

DR Elmore, hope you feel better soon.  My allergies were really bothering me and I was feeling miserable. The weather has changed a bit here and the cleaning I did yesterday has helped.  Hopefully what's ailing you is similar and goes away fast.

I'm up - had a good night's sleep (I was actually asleep by twelve-thirty) and it looks like another overcast day out, although that could change, I suppose.  I finally remembered what I must do today - I must write my contextual commentary for the Gardenia show.  Normally, I like to do that by the previous Friday, but I forgot all about it.
