And certainly not least, thank you so much to the erudite John G.

Will it make BK happy if we're on page 3 before he gets to post?

Many many thanks to Ginny, can't wait until your next NY trip!

You and me both, DR FJL!  We probably won't get to NYC until late this year or early next.  With a church-related trip to Atlanta in July, Rob and Mary Linda's wedding in September, and our trip to Europe in October, Richard and I have pretty full 2011 travel plates.  And, of course, we might get to see DR Elmore in Wooster, OH, this summer...

My friend Leslie had so much trouble sitting through JACOB'S LADDER but was so afraid of missing any twists that we called the movie LESLIE'S BLADDER.

JMK, thanks for the warning about those ladies who own Happy Birthday.   (How many notes is it OK to quote?)

You could do the first two and claim it's a ONE NOTE SAMBA parody.  :)

Happy Birthday DR FJL

Thanks, Jrand.  Skip is baking a cake, and I'm sure that's not a harbinger of what's to come.

Or an Ebinger, for that matter

No one would believe that.  i've already done my ONE NOTE SAMBA parody, and it was watched by literally dozens.

Or did you already know that I'd done a ONE NOTE SAMBA parody, JMK?  :) :)

DtM, I haven't a clew what your post/pic mean, but it is forever seared on my memory.

?!?

You just referred to the source in your post previous to this one.  My post was in response to DR Kerry's post before mine.

Next I'm off to the Dental Clinic. Oy!

Speaking of DR TCB--my method of cleaning shower tile grout is to make a paste out of Comet cleanser and vinegar (I used to use RealLemon juice, but it's not as acidic as it used to be.)  I use a fingernail cleaning brush to work it into the grout, but it doesn't take much elbow grease to get it to work.  Great for the tile, too.

AHA!  I found a PROMISES PROMISES booklet from Starlight Musicals in 1972.

The star was Michael Callan (who signed the booklet) - the female star had created a role in an iconic musical on Broadway two seasons before and has a recent MR BK connection....

Who could it be?

Back from seeing Lea, the new nurse practitioner, who gave me a prescription for an allergy med and spent a great deal of time examining the bruising on my right hand.  I'm about to go have the Rx filled and do a little grocery shopping.

DR JMK - my least favorite team is now in first place and the eliminated team has been arguing for a few weeks now.

Next week is the TWO HOUR finale.....for some reason CBS is burning it off in one night.....of course, last night.....with the cowboys gone.....I was a bit uninterested myself.

I am hoping the new first place team self destructs as they deserve to lose big time for the help they scored last week.

And if that's a spoiler, get over it DR's - it's a TV show

With Marge and Luke and the Cowboys gone, my interest in the rest of the season is also null.
