We are back from shopping. We've been back for a while. The house is now full of food. A new pot of berry ice tea is made. We will have turkey cutlets, mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner and we shall be able to eat now for the next few weeks.

Essen gut!

One of my best friends in college had the surname Essen.  I wonder if he's on Facebook.  :)

In the slightly hilarious department, I just this morning found this old YouTube video the listing agent posted on our "new" house:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84ChDv_ou8I

Missing from the footage is our gorgeous master suite with "hotel" bathroom.

yet they kept repeating other areas of the house. :)

boy did I plan this right. I guess the Memphis airport is really busy early in the morning and then again about 12:30. I came out around 11:15, There was no one in line, no one in the restaurant.  It's amazing. I zipped through security and am in a restaurant where I just enjoyed a nice chicken lasagne

Here's another Facebook frustration (and I know what dear reader Sam means - someone we both know showed up on my "friends you might know" list - I don't know why or how that works - and I made the mistake of clicking on it and wanted to vomit on the ground) - when doing an event, if you have a group, which I do for the Gardenia shows, there's always been a "select all" button - either they've moved it and I can't find it, because I had to select by hand which is very time consuming and a pain in the ASS.  If anyone knows where the select all button has gone, please let me know.

It depends on the artwork, but it could be as soon as eight weeks from now.

Good Afternoon to you Mr. Brockman.

I'm updating some things on the computer and will burn some CDs after Anthony is finished editing the files.

Still trying to decide whether to see the play this afternoon.  I like the play, so that's a plus, but I also don't really feel like leaving the home environment.  I guess I have to decide soon, as I'd have to leave in thirty minutes.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  We're back from a very rainy trip to and from Lima.  We drove through 2 counties where tornadoes touched down last night, but we saw no damage.  My "Mom Cave Clean-Up" is on hold waiting for some furniture moving help from Rob.  Meanwhile, Richard and I are going to watch Four Weddings and a Funeral, recommended by one of his seminary profs.

I am back from my meeting at noon. We checked out of the hotel at 2 and went to dinner at the Carnegie Deli, where I had matzoh ball soup and potato pancakes.  David Brophy is off to Dublin and the producer o=is off to Philadelphia. It's very warm and humid here at the moment. I will run to the market for a few things, come bavk and veg out for the rest pf the day.

We've had the new computer since mid-April. We just moved it into the bedroom where the old one was located. Anthony wanted to finish up some projects on the old 'puter plus he was on Long Island for a while. The stars converged today and we made the move. Everything works except my laser printer. I never thought about the old connection through a parallel port. There is no parallel port on the new computer. I have to go to Staples or Best Buy and purchase a USB cord to connect the printer. Ugh!

But at least we have our dining room table back. We will be eating dinner shortly and it won't be on TV trays.

DR Ben - it's always nice to get your dining room table back.  Enjoy your dinner!
