I wonder if Anthony's mother has discovered that also. If so, it would be an "uh, oh!" here.

Well, maybe not "good," but at least "entertaining."

DR Elmore, I have lost a few pounds over the last mont or so, but not enough to really be noticeable. I had crept up to the 200lb mark and I am now down to around 195 lb.

And of course I am sucking in my tummy in that photo, so that helps.

Off for a shower and then to rehearsal - where I am Mayor George Shinn of River City, Iowa.

I couldn't make myself any plainer if I'se a Quaker on his day off.

Back from some bacon and eggs.  Book signing has been set for June 18th and I really hope I haven't forgotten if I have something that day.

I am back from several hours of errands and am glad to be in out of the heat.  Today's climate reminds me too much of last August 3...

DR MBarnum - my recent weight loss was first noticeable to me in photos.  You look great and I enjoyed the photos of Ashland and Sherlock.

RE: BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK

I recall director Edward Dmytryk telling me that he was offered the picture, but he turned it down because he didn't like the script.

Dumb move.

DR Jose, have you ever ridden on a Sky Express Bus? They're in deep doo-doo after this morning's accident killing four.

Woah, this final day of May so far has been a doozy.  I'm home for a minute before I'm out again.   This was one of those days that it would have helped to have been a clone.

Vibes to Ernie and all who need them

Just got news that our regular sound and light guy is not available tomorrow - which means we get the substandard gal.  I'm not so happy about this.

I finished THE WAY OF THE WORLD today. What a brilliant comedy! I don't know why it's so rarely performed. It's not nearly as bawdy as THE COUNTRY WIFE, which is downright dirty, but very funny.

I think I want to read more Congreve now.

i just read some sad news on fb.  our vet just wrote:
Quote
RIP Roswell. Damn dogs snatched you off your porch while you were enjoying a spot of good weather. I'm so sorry that we couldn't save you. You were an awesome cat and you weren't even mine.

Roswell lives/lived down the road from us & is the cat of our friends.  We was a sick & injured feral kitten when they captured him about 6 years ago.  as a result of his injuries he had seizures that were pretty much controlled with medication.  he didn't go far from the house when he was outside.

i know.  i'm deciding how long to wait before calling them.  our vet said the husband had just taken Roswell home.  now i'm wondering if the wife even knows.  maybe i should wait a day, not hours.

LOL!

On the L.A. circuit, she was always available, always ready to lend a hand.....BUT she had been labeled "Substandard Gal"!

The have a good amount of land around their house making it difficult to understand what dogs were doing on the porch.
