Pretentious jerks.

I think it's great that they're able to laugh at themselves and their show and all it's problems.

And knowing people in the show, those two "pretentious jerks" have been amazingly supportive of their cast, and humbled by their talent, efforts and energy.

If you say so...

My first who cares moment?  What the hell is this doing on the Tony Awards?

Now, that I will agree with you. But, again... Even as much as we don't like it, The Tonys are a commercial for Broadway. -And a way for people who can't get to NYC to get a glimpse of those shows they may not be able to see in NYC.

Remember when Ed Sullivan did that for us LIMAs every Sunday evening?

SPIDERMAN may turn out to be a hit yet, and i think it deserves a Tony moment more than the Philharmonic COMPANY. I wish my friend choreographer Chase Brock well with the show, and I thought the composers were charming and very unpretentious.

Book of Mormon and How To Succeed are the two I want to see soon, but I woulfn't mind seeing Spidey. I'm hearing good things. DR FJL hasn't mentioned it lately, so I don't know if he's seen the new version or how he feels about it.

Yay! Desmond Heeley. Beautiful costumes.

Cilla, for some reason I had the impression that both your house and office were safe. I don't know why, exactly, but I'm very glad to hear your confirmation of that.

DR JRand60, don't go away! We're not always agreeing, but DR Jose and I have a closer tie to these awards than to any others; we have friends to support and a few acquaintances to tear down.

Oh, God, are we getting a number with Ms Clark now?

Finished my movie and am going to take a quick shower, and then it's the Tony Awards on the West Coast.  It used to be that only the nominated shows for Best Musical got to perform.  Now Spiderman gets to?  Not fair to all the other shows over the years that were denied that honor, methinks.

I don't know about you, Jeanne, but reading along on Tony or Oscar night makes me feel like I do at the native plant meetings, where they all speak in Latin.

Oh, I thought I said that a while back.   Yes, I'm fine and will be.   They have slowed the releases, don't quite know why unless it's to give some time to complete the new levees.

I hope I will be forgiven for leaving now.  I have been enjoying the party, but 3:30 comes very early.  And I need to take a second pill.
