I watched THOSE LIPS, THOSE EYES 2-3 weeks ago and loved it.

Brought back some fond memories.

Yeah. At our age it would bring back memories for most of us.

Weren't they just white?

A line of particularly LOUD thunderstorms began roaring through my area at around 4:00 this morning and lasted just up until it was time for me to get out of bed.

I'm too tired to even go "Grrrrr..."

I thought they were white. By the way, it wasn't until I had seen "Nudie" about three times that I noticed that one of the dildos is an African American in a black dildo, playing the banjo. There's about a two-second close-up shot of him that's easy to miss. Once I noticed it, I thought it was hilarious. I'm always so impressed by how culturally diverse and ahead-of-his-time Bruce is, even in his treatment of porn.

As I've mentioned a couple times, my place of employment installed software about a year ago to keep employees from browsing any "social networking" or "entertainment" web sites from our desks, which accounts for my absence here. But every once in a while, there's a "leak." Apparently, today there's such a leak, so here I am. And I'm so glad because where else on the Internet could I talk about black dildos? Nowhere, that's where!

Great news about "Nudie." May have to get a Blu-Ray to play it.

Don't be too sure; some of our DRs might know of such a place! Maybe Toys in Babeland?

Topic of the Day:  in my CD player at work:  the original Broadway cast recording of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, the newly issued soundtrack to "The Berlin Affair" and then both studio cast recordings of Strike Up the Band.

Yes, blu-ray players can be had for around $125 now.  Very worthwhile if you have a hi-def TV.

What about non-regional Blu-ray players?

Friday morning greetings!  The rest of our household is still sleeping, but I've been awake for about an hour.  In addition to my other cousin (Dan) and his wife arriving from Japan, we're expecting my sister and her husband from Michigan and their daughter from Illinois.  The cousins and my sister's family will all stay at the Comfort Inn between here and the retirement community (and near the outlet mall, which delights the cousins' wives!).  That will make our guest room available for Mary Linda and her sister who are also arriving from Michigan this evening.

Thank you to DRs Vixmom and John G, whose condolences I found this morning.

I like that they are all staying at the same hotel together.  It will be so much easier physically & emotionally.

DR Matthew is it only while holding the leash you feel DD Ben doesn't like you?  Sherlock didn't like walking our road with me when he was young, and still needs to be dragged down it at times.  I assure you he likes me.  Does Ben play with you in the house?

I suggest making the walks short at first & bonding with him in activities he enjoys more.  It is a shame he is not leash trained.  Does he seem excited about going out?  Have you tried a car ride to a more interesting place to walk, (though not off leash)?  Sometimes walking on leash in the house, using treats, helps.  I expect you are giving him treats while he walks outside on the leash.

Yes, rain would be most welcome!

We are only two weeks removed from a very rare, very heavy June rainfall that had been preceded by generous rains since the beginning of the year (May through October is genereally rain-free here).   Now we are being warned about the potential for a horrendous wildfire season.  It seems that grasses "overgrew" all through the spring and now -- two weeks after the last rain -- they are all dried up and ready to ignite.

Sigh.

Kickstarter thing is almost ready, but this rigmarole one has to go through setting up an amazon payments account is asinine.  So, I have no idea how long it will take for them to verify the account - I faxed them what was needed thirty minutes ago, but I guess it will be pending until they actually do the verification, and then I think we can launch the project.

Oh no!  I didn't think about that.  I will be the same fired hazard for us. :(
