I did break down and order a season ticket to our Broadway Series this year.   It's South Pacific, Fiddler on the Roof, Young Frankenstein, Elvis Lives (or something like that), Blue Man Group, The Color Purple and the group Straight No Chaser.   It sounds a lot better than last year's.  South Pacific was here a few years ago, but it was before the revival and was a really lame production.  Hopefully this time will be better

casey's attorneys have a hopeless task, for which they seem eminently appropriate.  :)

I am not an attorney, nor do I play one on tv, but by the time their "big" defense expert had confirmed all the main aspects of the prosecution's case, I was not very impressed with the defense team.

I really liked the 2 disc STATE FAIR cd release.

I have the STATE FAIR LP soundtrack from 1962......the liner notes say that the CD is incomplete because the material was lost....wouldn't someone at Dot Records or whoever owns them now have those elements?

Sounds like the reading went well.

DD BEN is being acclimated which is good.

DR GINNY has survived the day, as has DR CILLA LIZ and DR JOSE.....

So it was a good day!

DR TCB - that reminds me of a very old joke.

I have had several girlfriends that I thought I would like to marry, but my mother didn't like any of them.

My sister told me go out and find a woman just like my mother, so I did.  But that didn't work either.

My father didn't like her.

The booksigning was great fun.  Always nice to hear bk read.  The crowd was wonderful.  Nice to see people I remembered having met before.   And always nice to be in Glendale next to the Alex Theatre.

Lunch afterwards was fabo (is that a bk word ?)

Just got home at 9pm.

Looking forward to the upcoming shows.  I love Ventura on the weekends, but I do miss the city life.  Sometimes I remember being more alive mentally, sometimes I think it's just my lack of choice of things to do here.    I miss living on Hollywood Blvd., most of all, and the 4 yrs there were really wasted because I did not take advantage of the night life.  Stupid, stupid, stupid.  Oh well.

Perhaps I missed a response, if so, sorry, but could a Smartphone maven lend some assistance (actually to DW Wife Betsy):  is there an easy way to change your Gmail password on an Android phone?  You would think so, but Googling this provides only very convoluted ways to do it.  With Android phones (which come pre-equipped with a Gmail app), you enter your User ID and password the first time you turn the phone on, and then you're stuck with it.  There doesn't seem to be an easy way to change your password, and if you just do it online on your computer, your phone stops getting emails.

DR JMK - You missed a response. ;)

Now I just spend time thinking about a guy that's bad for me,  why do the good guys not interest me ?  Midlife crisis is not logical.  Not logical at all.   And probably bad for all who go through it.

But, I have lost 33 lbs.  ;D

Thinking about not letting go of this feeling until I get down to 115 lbs.   8)

Then look for a nice guy.  :)

Well, I get to dream anyway.    ;)

Why act 58 if I don't have to.  ;)

Why stop having fun it I don't have to.  ;)

 ;)

End of rant.

It's a very dry heat here. Way too dry. But normal for June.

Haven't had any Kickstarter pledges since this morning.  I hope we haven't stalled, although I know a few people who are doing it this week.

bk - Be sure to Tweet/Facebook/etc. again on Monday or Tuesday morning. -This way you catch the people who check their social media feeds at work. Weekend launches tend to be "slow" since a lot of people will spend less time on their computers during the weekends.

Need to wash dishes and get ready for tomorrow's chores.  7am meeting and breakfast afterwards, laundry, then a friend is transferring their membership to the local gym into my name as they do not go, then to see my favorite band The Showmaker Brothers at 3pm within walking distance at the Watermark bar and restaurant.

And of course get ready for work  ;D
