Back from a sandwich and fries.  I decided I needed some fries as a treat, so I had the small fries.  I've just been eating so few calories over the last few days, under 1000, so today I probably did 1500 all in, and then I probably jogged 150 of them off, since I did the short jog.  That's still few enough to lose and, as I've said, the last week has been very frustrating with how slow the weight is coming off, so I needed to not starve today.

Sorry to be E &T,  tonight I stained the south side of the garage.  Now everything you can see from the road is done.  We're supposed to have a  heat wave starting tomorrow, so I'll stop until it breaks, but I'm really glad to get this much done.  I only worked about an hour and a half, but that seems to be about the point I can quit without feeling tired at all.  I also put all the garabage out at the road, including all the carpet and padding and tack strip. I will be very glad to have it gone and not in my garage!

Now when the heat wave starts, I'm going to go through my closet and separate out everything that goes to Good Will and start deep cleaning a room or two a day.   I'm trying to learn to pace myself instead of working until I drop.

I forgot how working on the house is therapy for me. It's been so stressful here lately that the past two nights have really been great, just painting/staining and thinking etc.  It's great, I feel better and get a better looking garage.  Can't beat that with a stick

Dang just missed Ginny. :/

GINNY WHEN YOU READ THIS, THANK YOU DESPERATELY FOR THE CARD!!! I LOVE IT, IT'S SO CUTE AND i CAN'T BELIEVE YOU REMEMBERED MY GRADUATION. :') And I can't wait to use the book card.

NO BARNES AND NOBLES IS SAFE FROM MY CONQUEST.

Also, I will be in the city tomorrow with friends. So if you see me, come over and say hi. :) I'll be going to see Sister Act with three guy friends, (No, THEY asked ME, not the other way around, actually. O_O) and popping into Johns Pizza hopefully and maybe the nintendo store. Also, I was there today and got to watch three friends who'd never been in side the marriot experience the full "Glass Elevator" experiance. Took them to the top floor and back to the ground, and they LOVED it. except one time, where we were in a middle one with my friends family (They were coming to support her mother at Romantic Novel Con. SUPPORT MAGGIE VAN WELL!! ^^) And well.... we broke it. it closed, stoped, opened so we could see that we were no longer level with the floor and soewhat below it, and closed again. Only lasted a few minutes, but my friend nearly had a clausterphobic attack. Other then that, I have discovered that, yes, Long Island Five Guys is better then New York City Five Guys burgers. And to avoid skateboarders since they have no manners. And that I am the only one who actually knows when to jay walk, how to NOT get hit by an s.u.v. every  three minutes, and how to get back to the trains when it is time to go home. Hope everyone's had a nice day. Good night. :)

I was feeling VERY guilty about the fries, so I just did a rather insane thing - a three and a half mile jog - new route - fun - had a good pace, and that's five miles total for the day, which means I basically worked off the fries.

Good Evening!

Well...

I hopped on the bus at 7:45am - well, since it was running late, it was more like 7:55.

The Company Breakfast started at 9:30am.

The read-thru/sing-thru started at 10:15am.

The rehearsal day ended at 6:30pm.

Then the orchestra rehearsal started at 7:00pm.

And ended at 11:00pm.

The Orange Line train left L'Enfant Plaza at 11:15pm, and my brother picked me up at 11:50pm.

-And I get to repeat the whole thing tomorrow. And on Friday.*

WHEW!

*Alas, no free breakfast tomorrow or Friday.

I have nothing to share unless you want to hear a rollicking tale about paper jams, frozen computers and spending three hours preparing a package someone else spending 2 hours to get to the appointment only to be told  oh  I think Thursday would be a better day for me -- lets reschedule
