I always open the car door and pop the trunk that way. AT least by doing that it saves me from locking my keys in the trunk. Or at least if i do then the car door is already open.

DR Jennifer - ...But then I wouldn't have had a need to call my brother to come to the rescue.

Clicking "Play Video" causes IE to crash on my computer.

Um, that's because you're using IE, DR JMK. ;)

I specifically mention my love of the gas station routine in my review of IAMMMMW.  So there.  :)

Though I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit I had for a moment misidentified one of the two attendants.  I quickly fixed that error.

I shot this on my iPhone right off the TV in the telecine room - it will just give you a brief idea how clean the internegative is and how accurate the color is, although this scene doesn't have much color - and remember it's just an iPhone shooting a monitor.  Scroll down to Update Two.

And now we sort of know what "TFNM" will look like when we stream it on our iPhones!

New jeans?  And new shoes?  Whew!  Shopping can be dangerous!

AND keys locked in the trunk?

Well.....in actuality....astrologically speaking.....Uranus turned retrograde yesterday (until early September) - so these sort of things are bound to happen....even to we Virgos.

DR JRand - Thank you for backing up my mishaps astrologically. :)

Curtis emailed me instructions on how to scan by hand and thus bypassing the feeder, which appears to be dead, although he thinks it's static electricity build up. Everything is scanned, the corrected scores printed out for a second edit, and I'm ready to grab a No 7 bus and head back uptown. Thank you, Jesus!

I can work at home tomorrow and come back down to Toyland to await a shipment of paper onTuesday. I can then back to London any second edits I have for him. It's been an hour and no crashes. WTH?

Mad mad World is one of the those movies to have running 40 times a month on cable.  You just turn it on and watch 10 minutes of here and there and then turn it off again.  Its bits are better than the whole.

Folklife Festival....will the Brothers Four be there?  Or is it just people dressed up like settlers cooking deer meat over an open fire?

I LOVE It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World! It is one of those films that I really enjoy watching with other people.

It will be playing at our local Elsinore Theatre in couple of weeks. I had planned to take little Taylor and Ben to see it, but alas, my plans were foiled as I have to work that day because my supervisor is taking the day off.  >:(

Well, I must now decide if I am going to do some productive stuff today, or just sit and watch movies.

Maybe I will watch Mari Blanchard in MACHETE on Netflix Streaming, and THEN do some productive things.

Home again! If I'd known how to scan by hand yesterday, it would have been so much better, but I am grateful for the learning events of this morning. I have a ton of new music to edit as well.

Isn't there a Bollywood version that "liberally" borrows the screenplay

Thank you for today's notes, BK.  Over the years, I have learned to keep my mouth shut whenever the conversation turned to IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD.  I just never found the movie that funny.  If I remember correctly, my mom, my sister, and I went to see the film at the Cinerama Theater in downtown Seattle.  I remember the audience laughing hysterically from start to finish, but for most of the film I just kept wondering what was so funny.

Several years ago, I decided to try watching the film again; figuring my sense of humor may have matured since I was a kid.  Wrong!  I found it even harder to sit through on the home TV than I had in the theater.  Sure, there are some funny moments, and it is great to see all of those stars in one film; but I will pass on ever seeing it again.
