G'night!

I have no idea to whom I am saying good night.  There are not even Guests in the house!

Well, I'm heading out.  I need to go to Costco.

Just had to share.

Have a good rest of the evening, all.

Back from the four-mile jog.  I had a chicken salad sandwich only for lunch, so I just burned off 400 calories of that - so I'm thinking a nice halibut filet for dinner - that's only about 350 calories all in.

Just made a very weird treat that was way too good:

Cauliflower Popcorn: Take a head of cauliflower and cut it into florets, toss with 1/4 cup olive oil and 1 tablespoon salt. Roast in the oven at 425 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. (Mine cooked much faster because the head was smaller.) Remove when brown. Eat immediately.

It really looks and tastes a little like popcorn.

All I can do is vote. No one cares about my opinion otherwise.

Honestly, if "None of the Above" was an option on the ballot, I'd mark that.

Me too

Are there photos from your production online?

Yes, there are! There are even a few videos - including one where you can sort of hear me playing in the background (and I think you can see me in it too, sorta.)

Playbill.com, Broadwayworld.com, etc., have been posting highlights on their sites, but they're all accessible via Arena Stage's own website. Just CLICK HERE. :)

I spy Jose in the mirror!!

Good for you, Cillaliz. Do you know how many are coming?

Thanks JRand and Laura.  She did ask if it was ok, I just said No. I did tell her I'm planning to have a party when Joe comes up and since at least one of her friends donated that they would be invited then.  I thought that was a tactful way to handle it.

Very tactful & nice you will have a party when Joe visits.

Thanks.  Haven't heard back from the "friend" yet.  Not sure if she's checked her email today.  Don't care actually

There is a spot for write-in a name.  I learned though they don't count them or at least release the write-in counts.

Hmmm....are those cowboys in that Oklahoma photo as cute in real life as they are in that pic?

They're even cuter in real life, DR MBarnum. Much cuter.

I didn't sort of see you.  Which video is it?

I believe it is the read-through.  When the director is talking to the cast, you can see Jose in the back of the room

Of course, I am probably wrong!

You weren't. You were correct.

And there are a couple of shots were my profile(?) can be seen in the mirror.

I LOVE roasted cauliflower. Especially with some curry powder and/or cumin seed.

The City Yard Police drove by today. She looked at my yard and the yard across the street. I don't think she liked my summer wildflowers, which are plants to draw the butterflies.

These plants draw different butterflies. One is a caterpillar plant, and one draws the tiny butterflies. We'll just have to wait and see.

I was just reading Sally Todd's interview over at the Barbara Payton tribute site.......she thinks ALL WOMEN are jealous of her.....not sure that she's right....then or now.

I used to live in the same apartment building as Barbara Payton.

She can't give an exemption, Jane. I'll have to pull out the plants if she issues a citation. We don't like anything that looks like nature in this city.

OMG, did anyone else see the "German Ambassador to the UN" (or so he was billed) do his stand up routine tonight on Colbert.  Funniest thing I have seen in years.
