I'm driving my friend Margo to the airport and taking the rest of the day off.

Be back later!

I couldn't stand asparagus until DW Wife Betsy cooked it fresh for me.  My mother being of her generation only used to foist canned, slimy asparagus off on us and I couldn't abide it.

I love canned asparagas.  Fresh is okay, too; but I like the canned in salad.

Hello again-- After dinner (pizza) I went to see Love Never Dies.  I was in the second row and I was afraid it was too close because the stage was quite high, but as it turns out much of the action was on the side I was on and I only missed seeing a little bit when one of the characters is on the ground after having been shot.

I really like the score, especially the title song and the song that opens the show now (after some adjustments): Till I hear you sing.  The phantom, Ramin Karimloo has a wonderful singing voice and I liked the new Christine, Celia Graham, though I still would have liked to have seen Sierra Boggess.  I waited with about 12 other people at the stage door. Both leads couldn't have been nicer.

I'm off to Liverpool in the morning.

I'm enjoying the cool temps.  Some people were wearing sweaters and jackets today but I enjoyed being in short sleeves.

Thanks to my insane mother's terrible housekeeping, we had roaches that large running about the kitchen and basement. Once, when I was home for a weekend from college, I looked in Randy's hamster cage and asked, how long has this hamster been dead?  My mother replied, I've been meaning to get to that for a few days. Moke like a few months. I guess she was too busy drawing in the inch-thick  dust covering everything. Yes, her insanity still irks me, since we all had to deal with the fallout, especially Randy, who was stuck at home with her after I went offto school and Macbeth moved out to party, get high and screw around.

I was the youngest left at home but my life must have been easy street compared to this. :(

I arrived at my church gig this morning to a narthex full of teens.  They leave today for their mission trip to Chicago and (JR, prepare yourself) Purdue.

Yuck!

Every year we have a small crop of fresh asparagus-YUM!!!

Trying to get up the energy to jog four miles.  Blechhh.  I picked up the Xeroxed music, so that's done, although I have to go to storage Thursday to get stuff I'm missing.

I have managed to lose some weight without really even trying.  That's how it happens with me for some reason.
