Maybe her probably gay husband Marcus wears a "yarmulke."

Or maybe he just simplifies it, and wears a "kipa".

What do you call a boring fish?

A yawn kipper.

Good it is in the morning & better your friend is taking you.  You got meds too. :)  Don't forget to make sure the person will talk to you occasionally & let you know how much time is left.  The first time I had one I almost yelled to be let out 5-10 minutes before it was over.  Of course had I known how close I was I wouldn't have considered it.  For 45 minutes the person never said one word to me to be sure I wouldn't talk & move. ::)

I have a new favorite Cheyenne Jackson clip.  Well, actually nothing can top the Nathan Lane / Cheyenne Jackson Cubby Berstein clip, but this is two of my favorite songs from the musical DAMN YANKEES.  And, although she is no Shannon Bolin,  Randy Graff is quite delightful, as well.

I am bringing my own meds.  This was their idea.  A muscle relaxer to hopefully calm me down, and a pain pill so that I can hopefully stay still.

The first MRI that I had was prior to my first back surgery, and I was in horrible pain (hmm, kind of like now).  They kept yelling at me not to move, but I couldn't help it.

Thank you, Jane, for the advice.

Another fire truck is heading for Point Defiance.  I hear them going there three or four times a week, but I never read why they were called.

Both should help with the pain during & keeping the muscles from getting too sore.  Since I can only take a mild tranquilizer I find taking another one at bedtime keeps me from being sore the next morning.  If you are lucky you will have a newer, faster MRI machine.

Oh, if you think you need to double the ear plugs do so.  The last time I had one the ear plugs didn't work very well & I lost some hearing.

Hmmmm.....crazy computer stuff.....Firefox will NOT save any passwords or usernames......when I leave Firefox, and then go back.....I am signed out of everything.....and it took me awhile to get back here.

UGH......I have looked at all the saving and cookie and history options (oh yes, my history disappears as well) - and can find nothing that will correct the problem.

Irritating....

How do hear them call out the time if you are wearing earplugs?

First I forgot to set the 20 minute timer to let Kitty out of the bathroom.  Then I realized I hadn't shut the door between the bedroom & the bathroom locking Kitty in & Yogi out.  I don't know if Yogi would steal her food or not.  He was standing just inside the bathroom when I walked in.  I think he was waiting for her to finish before indulging.

Greetings from Williamsburg, Kentucky.  The drive that Google Maps said should take us four and a half hours took us seven due to traffic back-ups south and north of Knoxville and torrential rain in the mountains just south of here.  We're having a respite before heading into Middletown tomorrow.

Back from various and sundried errands and whatnot and seeing Melody's improv show, which was fun.  We then got a bite to eat at Musso and Frank, about which more later.  Listening to our new master.

Here is the question I should have asked on Wednesday's Ask BK: Why will people eat "pork butt" but they won't even consider "beef tongue?"

pork butt is really pork shoulder.

Fr. Richard celebrated a beautiful mass this morning - thanks for the never-too-late vibes, DR FJL!  After the service we had breakfast at the hotel, packed the car, and he went to the final Synod session and I went to Starbucks for coffee with DR Edisaurus and her DH Greg.  We had a very nice visit and I told her how much she's missed here and gave her a big HHW hug.  The Synod was just adjourning when I got back to the hotel - Richard and I got away about 11:45.
