The poster is cute, but someone might want to tell them it would be nice to fix the spelling of Mr. Wechter's last name.

And yes, the recording that's been linked to NOW is by their cast - it's not ours because you can't hear the organ and you certainly can in our mix - what was posted the other day was ours.

Wow! I made the poster. That's exciting.
Congratulations. And they spelled your name right.

I went to the market, and it was much cooler outside than inside my apartment. As I left the market, the rain began, and hopefully this will cool down the temperatures.

DR FJL, I don't recall any contractual obligation with Rodgers & Hammerstein that I should be mentioned on the poster. The only show that guarantees me a huge credit is JUBILEE, thanks to the Cole Porter Trust, but even that hasn't kept the Ohio Light Opera direcotrs from treating me like garbage!

Considering the orchestrations, I think Larry being on the poster is entirely appropriate.

Back from the four-mile jog.  I went outside and flipped the breaker switch again, to see if I could get the pump working, to no avail.  Then I switched the pump from "auto" to "manual" and it started right up.  So, I'll leave it like that for now.  I wonder if there's a short somewhere in the "auto" part?  I guess we'll see if any of the Jacuzzi things turn on today by themselves.

Well, Kim and four kittens (Shades, Shanti, Mink, and Feathers) are at adoptions. Purrcy is still very growly, and Sunshine is a little growly. Hopefully tomorrow.

Purrcy and Sunshine are very purry with people. It's just with the other cats they are growly.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  We are back from Lima after having quite an adventure on the way home.  We decided to stop at Dayton Mall where Richard dropped me off at Elder-Beerman (department store) and he went on to Orvis and I was to call him when I finished shopping.  Well, by the time I called him there was a huge thunderstorm going on and the rain was coming down so fast that the parking lot near me was flooding.  You can't walk between E-B and Orvis without going outside, so he told me to stay where I was and go shopping some more and he'd call when it began to clear.  By the time he called, I'd bought a pair of slacks, 3 pairs of shorts, and a pair of shoes (possibly for Rob's wedding).  By then I was able to walk to Orvis outside, but he couldn't have driven to pick me up because of the flooding.  It wasn't as bad where he'd parked the car, but he had cracked the windows a bit, so the seats were wet and we both had to change clothes as soon as we got home.

But at least the National Weather Service has cancelled our heat advisory...

Also, elmore, congrats on being on the poster.  Is that unusual?

Sorry if my question was oddly phrased.    I was actually surprised that it was unusual, but of course very happy that Larry was included on the poster.

Do you know how they are coping at adoptions?

Thanks, Jane. I usually don't hear anything after I take them to adoptions. I have to turn them back in.

Craig & Yogi are hiking on Mt. McLoughlin today.  I hope it is comfortably cooler there than here.

Our rain seems to be over for now although the air definitely feels cooler. It will probaby rain like proverbial cats and dogs tomorrow while I'm out.

Laura I thought with the special circumstances, & that you have a couple more kittens to decide when to turn in, they would let you know.

It is very warm here today.  We took Sherlock into town for a casual walk & lunch in the shade at a Japanese restaurant.  After a short walk we stopped at Larks for dessert.  I had my favorite chocolate cake & Keith had the vanilla ice cream that goes with it.  Larks is on the sidewalk so of course Sherlock got a lot of attention.  I think half the staff also went out to visit him.

The gremlins have struck again in the apartment. I had a glass of soda earlier that I set down somewhere, and although I've looked everywhere in this apartment, I don't know where it is. I cannot find it. This is most distressing.

Walking along creek on the outside of the park we heard a lot of cheering & saw a young woman soaking wet & wearing a cute summer skirt & top hugging a guy in a swimsuit.  After she got out someone else went in, which in when I decided we were watching people get baptized.

DR JMK they were slightly downstream from where I found you in the wading area.

I've never seen anyone baptized before.
