Ok, politics and who was doing it aside, when Obama told everyone to tweet their Congressman about the debt mess, didn't it occur to him they would just log out of Twitter?

I may have to break down and have a little ice cream myself.

Anybody know the difference between apple juice and apple cider? And I don't mean hard cider.

I had a cup of clam chowder and half of an Italian sub. It was a very tasty dinner.

I think I'm ready for bed.

We finished the project!

Hee hee hee!

Doesn't cider have some fermentation?

I shall not break down and have ice cream unless it's one of my frozen fruit bars at eighty calories.  You know, it's shocking how calorie-friendly a big bowl of matzo ball soup is - you'd think that big ol' ball would be HUGE in calories but the whole thing, including the broth and chicken, comes out to 450 calories.  So, I may have that as an appetizer and my usual turkey sandwich (about five hundred calories) when Alet gets there.

While the term cider is used for the fermented alcoholic drink in most of the world, the term hard cider is used in the United States and much of Canada. In the United States, the distinction between plain apple juice and cider is not legally well established.[3]

Some individual states do specify the difference. For example, according to the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources "Apple juice and apple cider are both fruit beverages made from apples, but there is a difference between the two. Fresh cider is raw apple juice that has not undergone a filtration process to remove coarse particles of pulp or sediment. Apple juice is juice that has been filtered to remove solids and pasteurized so that it will stay fresh longer. Vacuum sealing and additional filtering extend the shelf life of the juice."[4] In Canada, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency also regulates "unpasteurized apple cider".[5]

I just found my all-time favorite Jack Benny Show on You Tube - it's in four parts - watch ALL the way through - they don't know how to do comedy like this anymore.  Enjoy, you'll thank me after.

According to the U.S. government, as I just found out, there is no difference between the bottles on the shelf. Both are pasteurized, which means they are the same thing.

Traditionally, cider was raw and could ferment if left to sit.

Well we now know why there was carpeting in the master bedroom.  There must have been a smaller bedroom there at one time and when they expanded it, instead of re-doing the entire floor, they feathered in pieces where the wall used to be GOING THE WRONG DIRECTION!!  So the refinishing project just got significantly more expensive.

It would need to be L-shaped and approximately 3 inches wide.   ;D

I have been in the other end of the house watching "Kids in Peril Night" on THE CLOSER and RIZZOLI & ISLES.  Both were very emotional episodes.  DR Elmore, I wondered if the actor on THE CLOSER was Paul Giamatti's brother.

'night!
