Speaking of flooding, it's still really bad.  They are slowly reducing the output from the dam upstream.  I couldn't believe the amount of water still standing around Omaha.  The entire immigration court building is fortified with sandbags, cement walls etc, it's really strange to see because the river didn't get that high.  We also saw homes surrounded by water etc.   Remember, this started shortly after memorial day

I should be reviewing the materials for my appointment at 11:00, but I'll get to it.   I have another hearing tomorrow morning. This is a termination of parental rights and I represent the mom they are trying to terminate.  I don't expect this will go very well.  I'll be up late working on it and getting prepared.

My question for ASK BK day.....what does the screen credit Process Photography mean?

I always see it on old Paramount films Process Photography by Farciot Edouart.

I know what it is....BUT does that credit mean the person photographed what is projected on the process screen....or that person photographed the actors doing the scene in front of the process screen?

I've always loved the name Farciot Edouart.  So many of those old credits have unbelievable names.  We should post some of them today.

Wednesday morning greetings!  I slept in this morning until thunder and lightening awakened me at about 8:15.  The main thing I have to do today is plan some meals for the week and go to the grocery.

Our DS Rob came home from Michigan yesterday with the fabulous news that he passed the written part of the paramedic national registry exam!  Now all he has to do is find a job...

I wonder if it's Nellie who's "doing" Frances' pincurls in that makeup pic, JR.

It means that he photographed the background plates that were projected on the screen.

I don't think Nellie was at Paramount until the fifties.....but she may have done PARTY CRASHERS.....

*checking IMDB*

Hmmmmmmmmmmm....IMDB says she was a stylist on THE CRUSADES so she was at Paramount in the late 30's, so she may have pulled on Frances' hair.....

She definitely did THE PARTY CRASHERS in 1958
