The washed bedding is on the bed, the laundry is put away, I've vacuumed and had some breakfast, and I can either clean the bathroom or tackle the refrigerator. I think I'll clean the bathroom and leave the defrosting till this afternoon.

has anyone listened to the new KNICKERBOCKER HOLIDAY recording? I like much of it, but I'm unhappy that it's a live concert, since there are some bungled lyrics and poor sound balances, and it's cut. We're midding about fifteen minutes of the entire score including the wonderful "Algonquins from Harlem" swing dance. "The Bachelor's Song" was cut during the out-of-town tryout, probably to cut the wait for Walter Huston's entrance, and I really love the song. Chris Fitzgerald does a great job with it.

Dad was very confused last night -  I am hoping it was as a result of his pain meds

Very likely.  Vibes as he needs less pain meds he will be more alert.

This morning I went to the new Black Bear Diner near my house (there is one on the other side of town). Having been there I knew to order off the smaller serving menu.  It was just right.  Really glad there is a diner on our side of town.  We needed it

My mother was hilarious yesterday.  We went to a garage sale down the street.  I got some things and she did too. We had to have help carrying the box full of stuff she got. Then we did some things and she said "you know, I'd really like to get the silverware they had, it goes with my set"  so we went back and I carried another big box of things she decided she needed.    A little later she said "Why don't we go see if they are still out there"   So we walked down and everything was half price.  LOL, yes, I carried another big box of stuff to her house.   You'd think at 84 years old she'd be getting rid of things and not getting more things.

I know I'm trying to reduce, not add.  I suppose when you live in the same house & don't worry about downsizing you still have fun adding new things.

The light bulb directly over my computer just burned out.  It was one of those compact fluorescent bulbs.  I have many others to replace it.

Just had to share. :)

Today, I'm going to help my sister and her boyfriend move the refrigerator that's in her garage to our parents' house.  My sister doesn't use it and my mom wants one in her garage.  I don't think that it'll be too difficult, just heavy.

After that, I'm supposed to meet my friend Margo and her friend Marsha for a late lunch at the local Panera's, but I'm also supposed to go to my parents' for dinner.  Oh, what to do?  That might be a bit too much to eat...but we'll see. ;) I can easily eat light at Panera's so that I can have something at my parents'.

Well, if I didn't have enough health problems; I got up this morning and someone had left a puddle of tears in the middle of my living room.  So, naturally  I slipped and fell into the  puddle; which was surprisingly deep.
