So...

A woman almost passed out in the lavatory about 30 minutes after we left Houston. Thankfully, there were three doctors on board, and they helped her out. They also convinced the ground crew and the captain that we did NOT need to turn around and head back to Houston. WHEW!

Then once I landed in San Diego, my brother picked me up, we headed over to the restaurant where everyone was having dinner, I said Hello to everyone, then headed to In-N-Out for a Single, Animal Fries and a Strawberry Shake. <burp>

No matter the time I fly I never drink.  It dehydrates you, plus it make motion sickness worse.  I don't know how anyone could have 8 drinks before flying, especially an 18 year old.  I get how an 18 year old wouldn't understand not to drink, just how he was served unless the originating state had a lower age limit for alcoholic beverages.

DR Jane - I can't drink on flights either. I still remember flying to Boston many years ago. I had ordered a gin and tonic during the flight. During the decent into Boston, it was like a knife was cutting through my head. The alcohol just crazy things to my sinuses.  Never again.
