Greetings from the west side of Lansing, Michigan!  After being on the road all day, Richard and I arrived about 7pm and Rob pulled in right behind us.  We walked up the street for dinner and will probably crash soon.

It's time for me to go home...but I'm not staying home.  I will meet my sister at Costco so she can buy some monstrous shelves for her garage and then I'll help bring these monstrous shelves to her house, and eventually set them up.  Fortunately, as monstrous as they are, they're pretty easy to set up.  Then I'll come back home.

thanks  we lost the connection for a while there and the battery is half gone so I may disaapear soon --- the good news is my Mom just called ,my cell phoen to say her power just came back  she has been out since midday Sunday   I lost mine around 2:30 AM ...


so maybe by tomorrow the electricity will really be back --- of course now that we have spent  the Vixter's tuition money on a generator we have guaranteed  that we will  never have a power cut again  I'm rather sopcked the power did n;t come on immediately  we filled the thing with gas

Giving the old "Brigadoon" a watch. I haven't seen this since high school when the revival theater showed it on the big screen. I didn't like it then. Don't care much for it now, but the colors on this DVD are better than the overly red Ansco color I seem to remember -- though that was ages ago. I do have to wonder, though, why, with all these amazing Irish dancers, they give a big duet to Gene Kelly and Van Johnson to show the locals how it's really done.
