With all of Ginny's talk of her son's wedding, I can't believe that I almost forgot that I'm going to a wedding today!  FORTUNATELY, I found the invitation and the weblink to where they're registered.  They're registered with Macy's, Target, Kohl's, and Carnival Cruises...they're going on a cruise to Mexico, then Disneyland!  I bought them two meals (well, two at $25 each) for use at any of the ship's "Specialty Restaurants" on the cruise.  They only asked for two $25 meals, so that's what I got them.  I was then able to print out a nice announcement that I'll put with a card that I still have to get.  For their ceremony, they rented the theater downtown where I usher a lot (they're both theater people), so I'm sure that they have a fun wedding planned.

So, I must be off!  Have a good day, all! ;D

Aww, Elmore. I hope you find a kitten or two. What catches your eye? Orange ones? Cow cats? Siamese? Tabbies? Calicos?

I had a Siamese for 16 years, and I love them, but two Siamese talking all the time would drive me bats, and it's a short ride already. There was an orange kitten I liked, also a black one with a patch of whie under its chin and a gray one, all short hair, that I thought were beautiful.

Aww.

The siamese we had here a few weeks ago had such a tiny little meow. He was SO quiet. Feathers, on the other hand ...

It looks exactly the way it has looked in my head for the past 4 months.

That's great! :)

I am back from a wonderful lunch of Chinese food at the 77th Street Westside Cottage with my friend Joseph Rubin, who's taken a management job with the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players (NYGASP). I told him all about Dublin and he told me all baout the Ohio Light Opera production of JUBILEE.

On my walk down, I passed the Petco at 81st Street, where th ASPCA is out in full force with kittens, cats, puppies and dogs for adoption. On my way back from lunch, I spoke to a couple of kind and patient ladies who gave me an application for adoption. There were two littlers in one cage of about 10-12  18-week old kittens, and I was ready to bring home a pair of siblings.

Did you apply for the two kittens?

That's the way to go with it. I'll fill out the application this week and turn it in. I'm not ready to bring home a pet yet, because I have to do some work to the apartment and get all of the bedbug poison cleaned up. I don't want them hurt or sick because of me.

I like the gift & that you could print out the gift announcement.  Awhile back when I was looking at wedding gift options I didn't care for the hotel/resort choices.  I decided to gift some of their china instead.

You just answered my question.

When I think of your apartment I think of all the great hiding places for kittens.  Don't get a Tortoiseshell one, they can disappear in a book case right in front of you.  I know this from personal experience. ;D

Had a flat tire this morning. Three hundred dollars later, it was off to Border's. Another $100 later (lots of fun books including "The Hammersteins" for $7). I feel broke.

I have to get THE HAMMERSTEINS; my friend Andy Hammerstein wrote it.
The pictures are gorgeous.

Gee, I thought today was going to be somewhat relaxing, but noooo.  I got up, had an hour-long telephonic conversation which yielded some interesting information.  Then I realized that I have a lot of work to do to prepare for the Nudie Musical announcements - so I began by starting to redo in its entirety our Nudie Facebook page - we only have forty-seven "likes" so by this evening it's going out to all my friends to like.  That's going to now be the central place for updates and everything concerning the blu and ray.  I'll post stills and video there as well as release date, how to order, and all that stuff.  And when people "like" they can then send to their friends to like.  Trying to get as many people to like as possible.

Then I had to proof the Nudie packaging, which looks really great.  Made some fixes to it and have made some further fixes.  I'm hoping I can approve tomorrow, at which point we'll send it into the printers.  I found one other miniscule thing on the Blu and Ray that needs to be removed - a very easy fix.  I won't need to see another check disc as long as their QC folks give it the once-over before sending to the pressing plant.

I then saw the opening title of the web series - it wasn't quite right so I had her redo it and now it's really fun.  We'll finesse just a little more so it's long enough for Grant Geissman to write a theme.

And even though I'm not that keen on this sort of thing, I'm thinking about making the title possessory - i.e. Bruce Kimmel's (title here).  It personalizes it, I like it better than created by and when people start to rip it off, which I'm fairly certain will happen, it's easier to see the roots and no who was responsible for said roots.  What think you?

Good morning, all! I slept very well and very long. I was in bed at 9:30 last night, so I got about 9.5 hours of sleep.

DR vixmom, good for you! What a kind gesture you made, but it proves to me that you always had the power.

DR TCB, just as I was wondering if Brent were in Buffalo, you posted your qestion. LOL!

Rody, a trip to the post office and lunch with a friend. That's my news.

Rody? Who's Rody?

;)

Wow! Did I make a typo that leaves DRvixmom in the dust. I was aiming for "Today."

My guess, when I read it was "Ready."
