Joshie had a good recheck at the vet. His mouth is healing nicely, although he did lose a half pound (which is quite a bit when you start at nine pounds).

He does not trust me any more, however.

Love the picture DR GINNY!!!

Thanks, DR JRand!  Our choreography wouldn't have impressed you, but at least we didn't humiliate ourselves in front of the dancing Dunns!

Back from all my errands, not starry-eyed, but vaguely discontented.

How About A Yip Harburg Gardenia Show?

Maybe way down the line, but for now each of our shows is based on an album I did.

I'm up after a very good night's sleep.  Got up just before ten.  Just what I needed.  Editor will be here in about five minutes, then I'll jog.

Today is the 25th wedding anniversary of Ron and Dona Raines. I have next to no memory of the wedding but I do remember the reception! On the East Side, as I recall.

Allison Janney in THE HELP reminded me a lot of Dona.

A Very Happy Anniversary to Ron and Dona Raines!!

Wednesday morning greetings!  Today is DS Rob's 26th birthday, so Richard and I are going out to lunch or dinner to celebrate.  We'll take Rob and Mary Linda to Montgomery Inn sometime later.

A Very Happy Birthday to DS Rob!!

And Ginny, that's a wonderful picture of you two!

Good Afternoon!

It certainly has been quite a crazy weather day here so far in Northern Virginia. Torrential downpour, nothing, torrential downpour, nothing. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

Alas, all of the rain so far today has been causing flooding and flash-flooding throughout the area. There are reports that some of the tunnels in and out of DC have up to two feet of standing water in them. Right now, nothing is falling from the sky, but there are some more storms moving our way on the ole weather radar. So...

I'm going to get an even earlier head start into DC tonight just to be safe.
