I just finished watching TOMORROW IS FOREVER with Orson Welles and Claudette Colbert.

I'd never seen it before.

It's a bit dated, but still a very good movie.

I don't remember seeing this.  I will have to correct that.

So I stayed at the top and chased the butterflies.

Seems you had fun anyway-sorry about the hike though.

I think it's cute that they have the same FB avatar.

I got a little more feedback from Matt H regarding new shows.

I've also read great things about RINGER, the new Sarah Michelle Geller show (it's on the CW), so I'll check it out, too. I also want to give PRIME SUSPECT with Maria Bello a try. I know it can't be as good as the BBC version was with Helen Mirren, but I read it's going to be a whodunit a week rather than one long case over the span of a season, so I'll like that better if the show is any good.

He also mentioned THE GOOD WIFE is moving to Sundays & that NFL football runovers will make its starting time uncertain every week.

GGRRRRR!  ESPN is staying with the Georgia/South Carolina game until it's over and we missed the Michigan/Notre Dame kick-off - c'mon let's go to A2!

All we missed was Michigan receiving the opening kick-off and going 3 and out.  We were there in time to see ND score a touchdown on their first possession  :P

I don't get the CW. But the Ringer is one that was already on my list. There is a Canadian channel that is picking it up on Fridays.

I think Prime Suspect is on Thurs at 10pm. And since i already have 2 shows at that time (Private Practice and The Mentalist) i will pass.

I don't know why they decided to move it to Sundays. I believe it will be on at 9pm after The Amazing Race.Luckily I get TAR on a Canadian channel. And The Good Wife is also on a Canadian channel, although it will be Sundays at 10pm. But probably easier for me to just record it then.

My brother-in-law is a big Michigan fan. But for some reason i don't think they are showing the game here. CBS has the US Open. And TSN (our sports network) probably also has tennis. I think he went to his best friend's house who has all kinds of extra college stations.

You'd think since it is a fairly big game that they would show it here.

Will you get it in HD then?

I'm thinking of adding FREE AGENTS and TERRA NOVA to my list.

Today and tomorrow is my niece's soccer tournament. They are playing on a different field from their regular games. Boy was I in for a surprise when i got there. There were hundreds and hundreds of people there. There were at least 4 huge fields with all levels of kids. All playing at the same time.

After her game they had free train rides and little boat rides. Luckily the train pulled up just as we got there. And since it was so far away from where the kids were playing there was not a line up!

What is Free Agents? I don't think i've heard of it.

Not sure if I will get it in HD. The channel it is on does have HD. But i mostly record in my bedroom where i don't get HD. But it is still digital cable and very clear.

Is the CW in HD?

I wish i got the CW since i really like a lot of their shows.

There is a station WGN that i could get that carries all their shows. But it is only on a more expensive cable package.

There is one show that I don't think is on any station i get called Hart of Dixie. It stars Rachel Bilson who i like. I would have watched that show if i got it.

But there are some CW shows that are not picked up by any Canadian stations. Secret Circle is (which i will try).

I watched the previews for HEART OF DIXIE & thought you might like it.  I don't know if any of the CW stations are in HD for not as we don't get the satellite/cable stations.  I'm 99% sure our local station will be unwatchable.

Last night Keith was rather baffled as how he accidentally turned off the DVR in the middle of watching a movie.  He hadn't done it.  Sherlock walked up and tapped the power button with his nose, why I have no idea. ;D

He probably wanted the attention you were paying to the tv

Probably.  I have been chuckling over it all day.  He just walked up, looked at the tv & then tapped the power button.  Keith's reaction of "how did I do that" was funny too.
