Wow!  We just had a local commercial for an applicance store that had a gay couple shopping for appliances.

I'm surprised that they had Charlie Sheen present the best actor in a comedy award.

That may have been one of the funniest bits I have seen on an awards show.

I think that was a very brave thing for Charlie Sheen to do.  Part of his AA 12-Step work.

I kept thinking Charlie was going to make a joke about what he said about his former show.

I'm glad there's no tape delay on the West Coast so we can all watch at the same time.

I think that is what the audience was expecting him to do.  I saw a clip of him last week on Jay Leno, so I figured he would be serious.

They're showing commercials for the new show "New Girl" with Zooey Deschanel but they had to recast two of the actors, because the were previously cast in another show, "Happy Endings," which also got picked up.  But they're showing clips with one of the actors who's still in the other show.

Interesting. ;)

This could be the lowest post total for an awards evening since the time we tried having an awards party around the Pulitzer Prizes.

Penny just called.  She is about 20-30 minutes away though she thinks she will only be 15 minutes.  I wonder how fast she is driving.

Citizen Kane was on TCM tonight. I never noticed this before but.....

The whole plot revolves discovering what was the meaning of "Rosebud". But when Kane utters the word he is all alone. So how did they know what he said?

What is wrong with this group?  Not one snide comment about anyone on the Red Carpet!

Who's watching? I'm not!

I'm not either. Well, I can't right now. ::)
