Citizen Kane was on TCM tonight. I never noticed this before but.....

The whole plot revolves discovering what was the meaning of "Rosebud". But when Kane utters the word he is all alone. So how did they know what he said?

I think that that needs to be filed under "suspend disbelief."

Peter Dinklage for best supporting actor in a drama!  I've liked him in everything that I've seen him in.

Wow!  We just had a local commercial for an applicance store that had a gay couple shopping for appliances.

Are you sure it wasn't Mr. Michelle Bachmann and his personal assistant?

A dear lady from my church has been called home -- rest secure in the Lord's love, Marion; we will miss you terribly.

I'm so sorry, Vixmom.  My condolences.

:( At least she's in heaven now. How ironic that there was a baptism the day of her wake...

How is everyone else doing? And yay to Jane for hero status!

Nice to see the vixster posting!

Or in Vixmom type:

Nit osee thjvster pasting.

I love you XD and now, off to bed. Good night all.

Well, I'm off to my sister's for a while.  She wants me to help her to move a bed but it's been raining...hopefully, she has a tarp to cover it all. ::) I hope that I'm back in time for the Emmy Awards!

Have a good day, all!

Well, the mattress is moved.  My sister bought a new mattress from a coworker of hers.  He and his wife just bought this and either they didn't like it or there was something wrong with it.  They bought it on-line and the mattress manufacturer just sent them a new one and said that they could keep the original.  Wow!  That's customer service!  So my sister is really going to get a deal on a brand new mattress.

In some states, it's actually illegal for a business to sell a "used" mattress. Once the plastic cover has been removed, it's considered used. A friend of mine used to be a driver for Mattress Discounters, and whenever he had to pick up a returned mattress, he would end bringing it to mattress re-seller or a homeless shelter. *And, frankly, would you want to buy a used mattress off the showroom floor?

Katie Holmes is really a dim bulb.

It's been clinically proven her IQ dropped over 100 points when she joined Scentology and married her contracted partner.
