Maggie Smith!  Too bad she's not there to accept!  I guess she's enjoying her weekend.

I have always enjoyed Kyle Chandler since he was in that previous series where he got the newspaper the day before.

That was it...I used to watch it, too.

I'm back from an eight hour work session, a meal, and the four-mile jog - I'm exhausted.  But we got a whole lot done today.  Grant wrote and recorded the theme for the web series - so cute, and a total delight.  Then we prepared four Guy Haines tracks - the basics, but now that they're done he promises me he'll finish them this week.

Didn't the IN MEMORIAM segment start off so oddly it was like it was going to be a comedy sketch?

That's exactly what I thought.

Anna Torv just said The Canadian Tenors.  I'd never heard of them before.

Jean Marsh was nominated for Upstairs Downstairs. Wasn't she a winner over 30 years for the original series?

It's on Fox and it deals with paranormal activity and alternate universes and unexplained events.  It's pretty good, but it's not the kind of show that you can just jump into.  A lot of stories build throughout the season.

Peter Dinklage for best supporting actor in a drama!  I've liked him in everything that I've seen him in.

He was also nominated for an Oscar for "Best Short Subject."
Ha HA!

Did anyone else notice that people in the audience weren't applauding for Gwyneth Paltrow?

Off to a wine dinner in a minute. A limo will be picking me up, so I can actually enjoy the drinking this time. I don't think I've ever been in a limo before.

I used to have a lot of wine dinners.  Of course, wine was the entire menu in those days.  Last Wednesday, I celebrated 18 years of sobriety.

Congratulations on that.

I've had a 2-hr phone cnference with the Man From Philadelphia and all is well. I'm exhausted from it. but very happy that I am not walking out.
I'm very glad for you, too.

The best moment was the supporting actress in a comedy series presentation!  That was hysterical! ;D
