June, what was the song for your first dance at the reception?

A pretty sh*tty start to my June, too. I hate, hate, hate some of the hateful b*tches that call this office. And, of course, EVERYONE was late this morning so I had no one to whom I could transfer calls, which made the hateful b*tches even more hateful.

DR Ben: Did I ever give you a copy of MOBY DICK: THE MUSICAL? I'm bringing a copy for DRs PennyO and Elmore tonight...I can bring one for you and DA (Dear Ant), too, if you want one.

A Song for DR Jed:

We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let's start giving...

Wow, so many posts to catch up on.

I am listening to BOUNCE now. And I actually like it, because it seems so familiar.  Does anyone know if there is a list of which songs sound like which other Sondheim songs.

I love "the game".

I hate to admit it, but I don't really know the characters from A Chorus Line.  I've listened to the recordings (record and both CD issues) for years, but I've only seen the movie once (forgive me) and a live production at a high school that was, shall we say...not the best of all possible productions (almost a Candide reference).

So, again,

I'm now going to walk to work.  It should only take me 45 minutes, or so.  Hopefully, it won't rain. ::)  According to the weather line, it's not supposed to.

Happy Anniversary, Jane and Keith...

Joy and I have been married for 232 days (and they said it would never last), but who's counting?

I mean, if people were into counting, some notice of deification might have been made.  But not everybody's into counting.

I congratulate you on you connubial accomplishment.

Tonight I have to miss the early dinner with the ever-shiny Penny because I have a previous engagement, an even-earlier dinner with a famous Broadway songwriter.  :-X

I found that until I actually did A CHORUS LINE, I couldn't remember the names of the characters very well having seen it twice before I got to do it. And reading the names of the characters in the CD booklet isn't much help since some of them are the characters who get cut after the opening number, and others (like Don) have very few solo moments on the CD cast album, even the newly remastered one.

This is novel, being able to tap into dead people for "Worst Cast Scenario."

I don't know about the rest of the cast, but I definitely would put the greatest actress of them all into the role of Cassie:  Miss Sarah Bernhardt.

After the leg amputation.

Well tonight I have to do the makeup for ALL the guys in STATE FAIR.

And it is always the same....the first two nights they yell and holler because they hate it and don't want any makeup .... then by closing night they say....don't you think I need more eyeshadow?
