With all the talk about the satellite falling to earth and maybe hitting someone reminds me a the SHOWTIME TV series Dead Like Me. Where the lead characters is killed by a toilet seat from skylad that falls to earth and she becomes a grim reaper

OKAY FOLKS

I've decided to sell off most of my DVD collection that I've amassed over the last 15 years or so.
I haven't finish cataloguing the titles but there are about 425 titles. (Multi disc editions, Complete TV Series Seasons)

Most of them are in very good condition. Others are good to fair.
The majority were bought new, but there are some bought used (and I have indicated which ones were.)
If there other anomalies like a missing slipcover I have indicated that as well.
There are some 3D movies.
Some are sealed and never been opened.

I've gone through each DVD to look at the quality.

I've gone on to EBAY to price similar collections.

So I thought I would give everyone here 1st crack at it. I am asking $1200 for them (that's less than $3.00 per title) and for HHWers only I will throw in FREE FEDEX GROUND SHIPPING.

If you are interested PM me and I will send a list of the titles.

thanks

Greetings from Washington National Airport.

I normally take a bus and Metrorail to the airport, but the parking lot of my condominium is being painted Monday morning so I couldn't leave my car there.

I thought I'd have to park at the airport ($36), but knew that the Metro has some long term parking spaces.  I tried to park there once before but there were no available spaces, so I didn't have much hope.  But lo-and behold, there was a space!  All I'll have to pay is $4.50 on Monday.

Good morning, all! I slept well, and I have a busy morning with another trip to Toyland to send computer information to Curtis, who's now in Spain with Kevin Spacey's RICHARD III.

I have little else to report. When I get back from Toyland, I've got some writing to work on here, and then I'll meet our DR KevinH for dinner around 5:30.

So, off to Toyland!

I can't throw rocks about old men wearing shorts to dinner since this old man starts wearing shorts in May and changes back to long pants at the end of September. I think cell phones and their multifarious uses these days really gets to me. Time was when they were only a telephonic device, now they're used for everything from a computer to brshing your teeth, and people's inconsiderate use of them in public areas really irks me: the fool who stops in the door of a crowded elevator to look at his/her text messages, the jerk who walks slowly down the street talking at the top of their lungs to a device, the person on a train, plane, bus or other confined area who insys that everyone in a 10-yard territory knows all of the facts of his/her limited existence.

I wear shorts a good deal of the time, too. We are very casual here in Phoenix in the summertime.

Today I am supposed to lead a butterfly walk in a park. Sadly, when I went to the park yesterday, I didn't see butterflies. So this may end up being a short walk.

TOD: Both of my pet peeves involve cellphones. The first would be drivers who hold up traffic because they're talking on the phone. And when you honk, they point at their phone as if that were an excuse not to pull off to the side of the road.

The second involves people who are in a bubble talking loudly, often rudely or profanely, on their cellphones in restaurants, restrooms, groceries, you name it. I don't need to know you're offended because your child just got arrested, your spouse cheated on you, your dog tore up your garden, your scabies has returned with a vengeance, you have lice or you didn't get the cha-cha heels you wanted for Christmas.

End of rant. Thank you.

Saturday morning greetings!  Our DDiL (dear daughter-in-law) arrived about 10:30 last night and the four of us discussed the apartments Rob had investigated yesterday.  He even showed us pictures on the TV and we studied floor plans on the internet.  They're looking at a Nov. 1 move-in.  Today the young folks are going to a renaissance festival and the old folks will watch Michigan football - Go, Blue!

TOD:

I think the thing that bothers me the most these days is stupidity.

Do you ever watch "JayWalking" on THE TONIGHT SHOW?

What do they teach---if anything...in school these days?

What really disturbs me is that these people are not only allowed to vote, but they are also allowed to breed.
