Do people in England say "me too" or do you cringe at the expression?

Oh thanks a lot, Jane, I say that all the time.

Me, too!

Right now, I'm watching and recording Great Performances' "Rigoletto from Mantua," with Placido Domingo.  This version was filmed in Mantua, Italy, in the places and at the times that are referenced in the opera.  So far, it's pretty darned cool!

LOL!   I thought you wrote RIGOLETTO from Montana.

Shockingly, the Seahawks won the game.  Perhaps I should continue to say bad things about the team every week.

Congratulations, TCB, on your team's win.

That's not quite what I said out loud, though.

I used to think that Cloris Leachman was a brilliant comedic actress.  Now I think she should retire.

Well, I need to go (I'll leave the DVR recording "Rigoletto From not-quite Montana" ;)).  On Friday, I came home after work and turned on my kitchen lights.  There are two fixtures with four long fluorescent tube bulbs.  A couple of the bulbs had burned out and one was just barely hanging on, flickering all the time.  But the last was fine and enough light for my tiny kitchen.  Well, that finally went out.  It was a hassle getting it all taken apart (the fixtures are recessed into the lowered part of the kitchen ceiling).  I measured the bulbs (47 inches without the prongs) and wrote down the part number from the bulb and went to The Home Depot.  It turns out that The Home Depot does not have 47 inch bulbs.  The 46 inch bulbs that they have actually measured 45 inches without the prongs (I measured several lengths and they all measured the same way)!  What's that all about??  So, I need to get whole new light fixtures.  Fortunately, they're not that expensive.  I didn't get them on Friday, but my sister asked if I'd get her some canning jars today, so I'll go to The Home Depot before getting the jars for her.  I don't know if I'll be able to put them up today, because I still have some DVR recording to do and I don't want to accidentally turn off the wrong switch in the breaker box.

At least, the fixture will probably be an easy thing to swap out.

DR George, odd about your lights.  You are lucky to be handy and can replace your own fixtures.  I hope you are happier with the new lights.

I'm sure you would be happy to only have to deal with my level of pain from my shoulders, which I try not to complain about.

I don't think I would wish either of our pains on anyone else.

I have assembled the 2 modular shoe organizers that I bought at the Container Store.  They are now installed on the top shelf of my closet and my shoes are all organized.  In the process, I also put away the spring/summer shoes and got out the fall/winter ones.

Looking forward to watching PAN AM in a few minutes.

Admittedly, I have way too many pairs of shoes.  I did pull out several pairs to take to Goodwill tomorrow...
