The last time I flew all passengers went through the naked scanner in Phoenix. I frequently get stopped to be tested for chemical explosives.

Believe it or not, Hedison is 84 years old.  Still extremely vital, as is apparent from the photo.

I met David last year at Ray's Chicago show.  Very nice man.

So what are your plans on your birthday, Doug?

As the date coincides with one of my regular reunion get togethers with ex-work colleagues, I shall be carousing through the night.

C'est magnifique!  I'd been thinking it would be fun in Paris to see a French version of a familiar musical and - voila! - this morning I found this:

Wooohoooo.......I received  my TFNM Blue Rae and T-shirt today......which MORE than compensates for my small Kickstarter investment......and I am not sure, but I may be listed on it somewhere....

AND it was autographed by Ms Cindy Williams and MR BK.....all in all quite a haul!

Greetings from the Capitol Hill Suites! I am checked in, unpacked, and about to walk over to the LoC. I need to get my library ID card renewed.

I rode down in the "quiet car," slept on and off for a couple of hours, and I'm feeling pretty good. I suspect that around 4pm I will start dragging.

Someone told Joshie about his vet visit this morning, so I had a time catching him. But he got a good report. His mouth is in great shape. Well, except for the fact he has no teeth.

I'm at work and as of today, I [FINALLY] have a new supervisor (my previous supervisor retired in December LAST YEAR).  We've been told that she's very nice...but I haven't met her yet. :)

I'm home.  First off, I only got about two hours of sleep - just couldn't fall asleep.  The plane ride was fine, although the man across the aisle kept coughing and blowing his nose in my direction - what and ASS.  Don't get on a plane if you're sick, ASS.  We got in about fifteen minutes early, and there was shockingly almost no traffic coming home.

When I got home (I'd been alerted already) I found the kitchen lights, the hallway lights and the bedroom lights all not working, but everything else in the kitchen was, so I checked the breakers and sure enough that was the problem.

Mmmm, favorite unhealthy food... Off the top of my head, I'd say strawberry cheesecake, but I know that there are a LOT more...

Did anybody watch TAR last night?

I really did not like it. I didn't like the idea of the double elimination that they announced last week. And did not like how it played out. Especially the reason why people were last.

Also, I've gotten used to the equalizing on flights (teams that were hours behind get on the same flight as those who finished first). But there has to be some kind of advantage to finishing first or in the front. I hate hate hate that a team that finishes 5 hours behind the LAST team can be on the same footing as a team that finished first. And then their speedbump penalty was so lame. It probably took like 5 minutes.
