DR Jane, I like the top load washers. And don't mind the side opening dryers.

If you can't reach into the washer have you ever tried a little step stool.

LOL Just what I need, a new way to fall.  It is the extra high washing machine that is a stretch.  It's really big.  I only had one dryer with a side opening door and it did bother my back more than a pull down door does.

The Michael Shayne no-show mystery has been solved - despite two requests via Kickstarter for him to send his address, he never did, hence his address was not on the list that I cut and pasted from Kickstarter.  So, if he sends his address we'll actually be able to ship him his goodies.
