After lunch I came home and took a short nap. Feeling refreshed I decided to drive to West Hollywood. I parked on N. Laurel and walked about the neighborhood between Sunset Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd. Each street was jammed with klassic mid-century apartments. I was loving it!

Then I met up with a very nice young Turkish guy who models for Fitness magazines. We had some interesting conversations and whatnots and then I came home. Am ready for bed and to start another day of adventury.

Tomorrow I meet Scotty Morrow and his buddy Mark for breakfast and the are going to take me up to the Hollywood sign and then over to a spot where a lot of westerns were filmed.

Then in the afternoon I will drive over to Encino to spend the evening with my dear Jackie Loughery. Jackie was Miss America and played one of the Venusian girls in ABBOTT AND COSTELLO GO THE MARS as well as starring opposite Ed Kemmer in the 1956 film HOT ANGEL (one of the films I sent to DR Jrand last week). I am especially looking forward to meeting her poodle dog Sweet Pea. Sweet Pea is going to the groomers just to get prettied up for me!

And she was married to Guy Mitchell and Jack Webb....though not at the same time.

She is beautiful in HOT ANGEL....thanks for sending it to me.

DR JANE congrats on the new W/D.....I say replace!

Also I am just now commenting on the "new" Doris Day CD.  Something is not quite right - sound wise, although Doris sounds okay.  As has been revealed, most of the tracks were recorded for her Doris Day and Friends television show on CBN back in the early 1980's.

I would more highly recommend (if you don't have it) - Doris Day the Singles Collection.  It's still available and a lot more enjoyable.

I went over to Jerry's Deli and had a chopped salad - I was quite hungry and realized I won't eat again until almost six-thirty tomorrow.  I used a teeny-tiny bit of oil only, so almost no calories.

Driving the 2nd rental.

No car.

Another $600.00 car repair that the insurance company might not pay.
