I'm going to arrive Thursday afternoon .  I'm going to a meeting. We'll have a reception of some sort on Thursday night so I'll be busy.  Friday I'm taking the Chicago Architecture Foundation highlights tour. That will take all morning.  Other than that I'll be in and out of the meeting.   It's on persuasion and I'm pretty good at that, so ....   I leave Sunday morning.

Did you mean Friday for the architecture tour? -I'm going to try to snag a rush ticket to the Chicago Symphony's concert on Friday afternoon.

My bus will be arriving back at the foundation about the same time the concert is starting, lol.  It's next door to symphony hall, so we'll be passing like ships in the night....

Back from a very nice dinner with pal Barbara Deutsch and seeing a staged benefit reading of a Terrence McNally play called Some Men - quite enjoyed the play - I really like his writing and he's very funny at times.  Cast was very good, but nowhere was a list of who they were, which was impossibly annoying.  Kevin Spirtas was in it and very good, and I knew David Pevsner and Maxwell Caulfield - wife Juliet Mills read the stage directions.

Due to a sort of "perfect storm" of circumstances, I will be heading to Chicago next week for a few days. A company I've worked for before needed a pianist to play for some auditions. A friend of mine is playing a recital. Another friend happens to be in Follies at Chicago Shakes. And since United seems to be running some sort of crazy sale right now on flights between La Guardia and O'Hare - roundtrips as low as $98! - well...
