You'll be telling us you haven't seen CITIZEN KANE next  ;D

I've not seen "Citizen Kane" or "Casablanca." I've made it a goal while I'm over here to see both, so they're in my iTunes library waiting to be watched.

Oh, you know...just flitting about Japan, singing a few tunes with a big ole' orchestra and sightseeing. The usual. ;-) I'm in Tokyo this week...we were in Hiroshima and Osaka last week. Tomorrow we start our performances at Tokyo International Forum - it's a 5,000-seat venue, and we have four sold-out shows there this weekend as well as a sold-out closing performance in December. So in the next three days, I'll get to perform for 20,000 people. Crazy, huh?!?!

DR Jason, it's been great to flit around Japan with you, via Facebook!

DR Ginny - thanks! Unfortunately, many of the photos I've posted on the Book of Face were deleted last night when I tried to clear out some space from my computer's hard drive. :-( I uploaded all those pictures from iPhoto to Facebook, and when I deleted the pics from iPhoto, it also removed them from the Facebook albums. So now I have to decide if I want to go back and repost all those photos or not... :-\ Thank God I backed up all those pictures, though!! I would be heartbroken if I'd lost the actual picture files.

How was Europe??

DR Jason, our Europe trip was fantastic.  5 days on our own in Paris, a week-long river cruise from Nuremburg, Germany to Remich, Luxembourg, and a couple of days in Reims, France, and it all seems like a dream.  We've been home 2 weeks now and sometimes I can't believe we were really there.

Ginny-san, I feel that way about Japan! I still can't grasp the idea that I was in Hiroshima just a few days ago. And Sapporo may be the most beautiful place I've ever seen in my life. That, and Kyoto. I still have to pinch myself sometimes to make sure I'm really here!

I'm so glad you had such a wonderful time. Germany is lovely, but I don't remember much of Paris, honestly. I was so young when we were there. :-\ Did your DH enjoy it, as well??

Yes, Richard was revisiting places he'd been to 40 years ago when he was stationed in Germany in the Army.

How excellent!! My grandfather was stationed somewhere here in Japan during the Korean conflict. I hope to find the town where he and my grandmother lived and visit it, but I'm not sure how easy that will be...depends on how far it is from Tokyo.

DR cillaliz, what did you think of last night's elimination on DWTS?

(i was happy).

And who are you and your mom cheering for?

I am happy with the final 4. I really like JR/Karina. But i also really like Derek/Ricki.

We are both glad that Nancy is gone. It was time.
I"m cheering for JR and Katrina and I think that she is too
