We'll be leaving soon for dinner. The only reservation available was for 8 pm. Now that we're in our 50's and 60's , there was some discussion as to whether that was acceptable (our first choice was 5pm).

When I first starrted going on cruises, there was no way I would have accepted a first seating for dinner. Now I can't imagine waiting until 8 to eat.

VERY SLOW day at work today.......but it was very BIG yesterday.

I also cannot remember any memorable cupcakes! When I went to see The Boys from Syracuse in DC a couple of weeks ago, DR Jose and I walked by one of the popular cupcake places on our way to "Teaism." I thought about getting a cupcake afterward, but changed my mind.

Friday night ....Chili, homemade corn bread, salad and my brother's chocolate pecan pie DOUBLG YUM (it's Paula Dean's recipe)
Samantha and Don invited the family over to Don's house for a chili dinner. Sam cooked...it was the first time she invited the entire family over to their house for dinner. It was a nice evening
