I was just sent a review copy of THE STINGIEST MAN IN TOWN w/Basil Rathbone.

For some strange reason, I have never seen this TV show before.

I have seen that version, but I prefer this version of the classic.

I've always enjoyed the Albert Finney film, SCROOGE.

Me, three...it's one of the movies that I watch every year.  This year, I bought the Blu-ray and it looks fabulous!

I've had some good ones, but not what you'd call truly "memorable."

I like the orange cupcake type things that Hostess used to sell.....but I haven't seen them for a long time.

There's a local Wonder Bread/Hostess store that sells these.  They are quite delish...AND they use natural orange oil, NOT artificial flavors.

It's been several months since I've been there, but I think I need to check to see if they still carry them.

I jogged, I picked up no packages and no important envelope, I ate a sandwich and a cup of chicken noodle soup, and I watched a Maigret movie - I also snoozed.

Just spent some time at our package-wrapping table in the basement.  It was fine for getting Mom's birthday present ready, but it needs a major clean-up before the Christmas rush.

After I wrote that DR GEORGE, I checked at the convenience/gasoline store this morning....and there were NONE.....maybe they are seasonal in my neck of the woods.
