I've somehow managed to do about fourteen pages, but will absolutely do another five this evening. Rehearsal was fun - love this cast. Had to do one arrangement from scratch and I think it came out really well.

In other news...

When we drove up to Fairfax earlier, it turned out that my mother wanted to drop off some Christmas gifts for my godfather/uncle and his family. So... We all got to see him for a quick visit.

I then took my parents to a kabob place for lunch. It was a very good lunch, and my parents were very impressed with the complimentary cup of soup that the owner proffered us. -I didn't have the heart to tell them that he always does that, it's something to tide his diners over while their kabobs are being grilled.

My Dad was also quite fascinated with the tandoor oven. He actually stood at the counter for about five minutes watching the cook prepare the kabobs and naan.

I'm watching the new show, "Work It," essentially a new version of "Bosom Buddies." Reports (before it aired) were that it would be offensive and should be pulled from the schedule. So far, there have been some fairly funny moments.
