Dammit, TCB. You would have been in his office six months ago if all the proper referrals had been made.  (((TCB)))

DR TCB - sorry the doctor couldn't be more optimistic.  You remain in my prayers...
Most definitely. Prayers and more.

The same from us as well, TCB.  Much love from all of us.

Watching "Grease" for the first time from beginning to end. Not a great movie and not especially well directed, but it does have its moments.

Jennifer, I have to wonder if "keeping" an e-book would really prevent the next person "in line" from getting it.

I've never taken an ebook out from the library. But I know DR Jane does. And I think you have to wait your turn. And I thought the next person only got it when the person before was done. Maybe someone who takes out ebooks can tell us.

No, Jeff is correct...well, at least that's not how our library works.  It will be checked in in the library's system.  The library doesn't get the check in information from your device, so you can keep the book (and be able to read it) for practically forever...as long as you don't turn on whatever wi-fi-type connection you have and relink with Amazon's system.

Perhaps I should invest in a tiger eye ring.  I saw Surgeon #3 today.  The problem is in the thoracic part of my spine (10 & 11 discs).  He said that this is the most "fragile" area of my spine.  The two disc have pressed together and caused a bulge that has to be removed.  However, the doctor said that there is only a 50/50 chance that I will ever walk again.  He said, "I wish you had come to see me six months ago, and I could have more easily predicted success."  Now he is afraid that the nerves may be completely dead, rather than just damaged.

Wow!

~~~SUPER MEGA VIBES FOR DR TCB!!~~~
Tomorrow Night on Extreme Makeover Home Edition they are doing their Joplin show.  Seven houses in seven days.  Jon (former DR jhvw)  worked on house number 1.  He did some other things too, so he very well may be in the show.  I do know at one point he was carrying a banner.  They had 13,000 volunteers for the show that week.  They did a lot of other cool things for Joplin.   It's the series finale and from what I've read, they started planning this immediately after the tornado.   My mom would love a recording of it.  I can't do it with my cable DVR,so I'm wondering if anyone can record it for me.  It would really mean a lot.  Thanks
I can record it...how many copies do you need?
