Not much more snow due until this evening. I thought that was supposed to be the end of it. But now they are saying an additional 4 to 8 inches on Wedneday.

Nicky is mad at me. He decided to lie (lay, lie liar) down behind my wheelchair, and figured I should be able to know he was there. Wrong!

that's great news. I needed some good kitty news today. My friend Bonnie had to put down her 21-year-old cat, Bob, who was the best cat, this afternoon. He was very much like the sphinx and I will miss him.

So at 5 in the morning I called the plumber who came and fixed the furnace when it broke down last year

he was also very sleepy but pleasant and sad of course it was no problem he is a 24 hour emergency service and asked if 7 AM would be oK for him to show up

the temperature outside at 4:30 was a brisk 7 degrees F

inside it was about 52 - but is sure felt a lot colder
