TOD:Angel Face (1952)The Cardinal (1963)Bunny Lake is Missing (1965)I saw Exodus when it was first released and found it quite tedious but when I saw it again on DVD a few years ago I found it really engrossing. I also saw Porgy and Bess on first release and remember very little about it but it would be interesting to actually have the opportunity to see it again.
Last night I bought the new bio of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. It's on my Sony Reader. I also bought the bio of her husband, Prince Philip. It's only my computer and I have to transfer it to my reader. For some reason it didn't transfer to the Reader when I downloaded it, it just appears on the computer. The problem is the wonky Sony software. Whenever I plug in the reader to the computer the sync software starts and then just hangs. I can't do anything (like stop the sync software from starting) so I can't transfer the book. I don't want to read it on the desktop because it's 600 some pages and I don't want to sit in front of the computer to read. I may have to if I don't get this to work correctly.
And I am home from my dinner with DRs Jose, voxmom, FJL, and Jason. DRs Jason and Jose are off to FOLLIES, FJL off to HOW TO SUCCEED, and vixmom to home. I will take off my wet cold shoes, settle down and watch COPS/ After that, perhaps a movie.

MEGA, MEGA VIBES to TCB, who has had to endure far more than any human should. (Not that it's OK for animals.)
DR Ginny I'm glad you are staying home tomorrow. Vibes DS Rob is having a safe day.
Jane did you see last night's 20/20 about cruises?

Paramedic Rob just called to assure us that he survived his workday. He said the roads in Cincinnati are OK, but parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks are in pretty bad shape. Confirmed my suspicion that if we could just get down our driveway we'd be fine. But we can't, so here we are...

I received an email from the neighbor above us saying there is flooding up there. I think it is all outside of the house. They suspect it is coming from the highway or railroad above them. If so then we have to figure out if that is causing our problems. I seriously doubt it but it mean the neighbors who don't use our road on a regular basic will be hesitant to pay to fix it until we know for sure. In the meantime I can't drive my car & might have to miss my Wednesday hiking group until the road is fixed. That might not be until spring.

Usually I park in the garage and Richard on the street, but for a couple of reasons his car had been in the garage this week. When bad weather's expected, we pull the outside car into the lower part of the driveway to get it out of the way of the snowplows and sliding cars.

The second part was about the alcohol abuse, the fighting between drunk passengerrs, and the lack of security officers onboard. That seemed to be mostly a slam at Carnival Cruise Lines and their emphasis on drinking and drinking games. They also covered the wild partying below the passenger levels where the crew spends their off hours. Plus they talkedabout the number of passengers who have fallen or were pushed overboard..All in all, a little too much to try and cover in basically a half hour.

LOL, you guessed correctly. I think you did. I don't remember who owned the original ship for the Disney cruise.
