Without beating a dead horse, my comment to which you are responding was simply an opinion, it contained nothing spoiling of any sort and was simply a general comment that I (no one else, mind you, I) was able to predict several plot developments.  Did I mention any of those developments?  No.  Following your train of logic, no one (say, like, BK and Druxy, who frequently disagree on the merits of certain projects) should ever post anything they think of a film/tv series lest it be thought of as a "bummer" for someone else.

Yes, both seasons.  It's quite the rage.

In other news, the second copy of ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN front I received has the same misauthoring I mentioned in my review, where there's nothing on the Chapters submenu other than the heading "Chapters."

Synchronicity Whilst Channel Surfing Department:  I just stumbled across Edward Albert turning to Eileen Heckart in BUTTERFLIES ARE FREE and saying, "Well, you'd better start laughing at something or some people are going to think you're a lesbian."

An interesting fact is that The Red Baloon won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and the shortest film to do so. Also it was the first film (And I believe the only one so far) that did not have any kind of dialogue to win the award. That includes silent films that had intertitles

And this year, "The Artist" is nominated for best original screenplay.  I wonder how many other "silent" films over the years were at least nominated.

Topic of the Day:

The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello.  It's a steampunk silhouette animated adventure...and quite mysterious. :)

Back from a four-mile jog.  Yikes.  I shall now hopefully go get some packages.  I erred about the important envelope - the earliest that will be here is tomorrow.

Season 2 od DOWNTON ABBEY arrived tofay from Amazon.

I've finished the singers' bios, most of the fixes on the liner notes - I've got one to find and I can't! - and I need to add a name to acknowledgements.

That teacher in Los Angeles who was arrested on buse  charges is being held on a $23 million bail.  Why not just refuse bail.  Good grief who would even have the 10% needed for a bail bondsman?

George was talking about seeing HAIR last night.  I remember back in 1969, or 1970; Seattle had a company of HAIR.  I don't mean a touring company, but an actual Seattle Equity company at the Moore Theater in downtown Seattle.  I believe that is the only time we have ever had a national company of a musical.

And as I remember the nude scene at the end of Act One was was very subtle.

I almost said that I was surprised that a community theater would include a nude scene; but I forgot that several theaters have done THE FULL MONTY and kept the totally nude scene at the end of the show.

The second week of May the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America is having their yearly international gathering in Gettysburg.  I want very much to go but it might not work out.  I plan to go to Bryan's graduation on June 1st.  The dates aren't close enough together for me to stay on the east coast in-between the events.

Keith's aunt & cousin will be in NY at the end of May & asked me to join them.  I could go to Philly, NY & then Chicago.
