The second week of May the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America is having their yearly international gathering in Gettysburg.  I want very much to go but it might not work out.  I plan to go to Bryan's graduation on June 1st.  The dates aren't close enough together for me to stay on the east coast in-between the events.

Keith's aunt & cousin will be in NY at the end of May & asked me to join them.  I could go to Philly, NY & then Chicago.

Does that mean you wouldn't go to the Bernese gathering?

Sooooooo,

I was in a motel last night. Said motel had a television with some basic cable. I kept flipping through the channels. I was sure that if I just kept flipping that I would find something worth watching.

We decided that we are very glad that we did not spend any money purchasing a television machine.

I just read online that Broadway actor Chip Zien was the voice of Howard The Duck in the film of the same name.  I never knew that.  Of course, I never saw the film.

Well, one of the things we watched and turned off was about a girl named Chelsea, who went deep sea fishing with a slutty girl, a dumb girl, and two gay doctors.

I am wondering why this new book by the woman who claims to have had an affair with JFK is considered such a "big bombshell."  I would think that finding a woman who hadn't an affair with JFK would be more newsworthy.

I have started watching one show on Wednesday night that I am finding that I really like.  It is called HAPPY ENDINGS.  I actually laughed out loud a couple of times.

George was talking about seeing HAIR last night.  I remember back in 1969, or 1970; Seattle had a company of HAIR.  I don't mean a touring company, but an actual Seattle Equity company at the Moore Theater in downtown Seattle.  I believe that is the only time we have ever had a national company of a musical.

And as I remember the nude scene at the end of Act One was was very subtle.

We were living there at the time and my eldest sister went to see this!  My parents wouldn't let me go.  ;)

Today it was announced that the Rev. Phelps and his followers will be picketing outside the funeral service for the two little boys that were blown up by their father.   Apparently God killed the two boys because Washington had passed the Same-sex Marriage Act.

Which teacher are you referring to?  How awful I even have to ask which one.

Miramonte Elementary School where the two teachers were arrested and the entire staff was replaced.

I feel bad for the innocent staff & teachers who have been replaced.

We had to lie to my girlfriend's parents and say that we were going up to Seattle to see some movie.

Sigh, likely.  Flights out of Medford are not direct & they are pricey.  To pass up seeing hundreds of beautiful dogs, many whom I know from facebook, isn't easy to do.  I have my hotel reservation but nothing else.

I am sure that the statute of limitations has expired for that crime.  Not to mention the fact that he is dead.

Thanks.  I'll see.  I'm waiting to find out the plans of my friend in PA who would have driven me to Gettysburg.  I'm having trouble finding public transportation to & from Gettysburg.
