DR Jane - I love the flowers in/on your hair!

For what it's worth, our guest room should be open in May and we're between Gettysburg and Chicago...

Thank you.

And thanks Ginny that would be very nice.  If only the timing were better.  I don't want to be away from Keith for over 3 weeks.  I had enough of that when he worked.

RE: the spoiler discussion from earlier.

I personally don't like spoilers. Although I am normally quite good with just the title of the show being listed.

In this case i don't think what DR JMK wrote was necessarily spoilerish. However since the series has not finished airing on tv yet I think the case is a bit different than if that comment had been made after a Sunday episode.

It's hard because it's fun to discuss shows. And discussing a show in depth requires spoilers. :(

Last one of the day.

More of the beautiful island flowers.  I'm surprised we don't have a photo of white flowers similar to these.  Everywhere we went we were greeted with a little white flower.

Nope, the writer was announced, I'll go back and see who it is.

EXCLUSIVE: DreamWorks and Working Title Films are embarking on a feature remake of Alfred Hitchcock's classic mystery "Rebecca," that will be written by "Eastern Promises" scribe Steven Knight, who will go back to the original book by Daphne DuMaurier.
Story follows a naive young woman who marries a rich widower and settles in his gigantic mansion, only to find that the memory of the first wife maintains a grip on her husband and the servants. Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will produce for Working Title.
Knight earned acclaim early in his career for writing Stephen Frears' "Dirty Pretty Things" and he recently adapted Dan Brown's bestselling novel "The Lost Symbol" for Sony. Knight is currently prepping his directorial debut "Hummingbird," which will star Jason Statham.
Knight is repped by CAA.

If memory serves me correctly the movie was fairly close to the book.

Not really.   ;D  The Production Code wouldn't allow Maxim to be an outright murderer, plus the whole affair/illegitimate baby subplot was glossed over.

I would say they are a step up from Princess, but a big step below Oceania.

I'll have to read the book again.  It seemed about the same to me.

Will it be a 3-D animated musical with a Happy Ending??
