I was awakened at eight-thirty by - a spider crawling on my face.  That's a first.  That little sucker was dead in three seconds.

Just read on Castrecl that Live From Lincoln Center will broadcast the New York Philharmonic's upcoming CAROUSEL.  Please, please, please don't tell me that Lonny Price is directing.

Please.
He isn't. And John Doyle isn't, either. I think Debra Messing is, though.
James Brennan is directing. I don't know how he is as a director but he was wonderful in the national tours I saw of "Crazy for You" and "Me and My Girl."

But can you see it? Debra Messing IS Billy Bigelow. Wow.

I just lost a post because of "too many fuckin connections"! So, where are these too many? I see no guests, and about 4 DRS!

Jimmy is a good guy who will treat the show well, better than Mr Price or Mr Boobie, two good actors who should stop directing and go back to what they do really well.

If a post is not going through in normal fashion, highlight the post and click command C - then you'll have it.  Then when you come back, just hit command V and it will put the post in.

Actually, we are going to see THE ARTIST today.

We didn't go to the movie.

We got to the theater and discovered that the wrong time had been posted.  It doesn't play until this evening.

So, I'll wait for the DVD.

eBay update:  Sent an eBay message to the seller asking if they received my payment and if the item was shipped and would he send along a tracking notice.  (notice all items requested, received money, shipped... etc)

He wrote back saying my item was shipped on Tuesday because Monday was a holiday.

As usual, they neglected the other half of my message.  This person has a 100% positive feedback rating on eBay.  How the hell does that happen.  I'm considering not giving feedback at all, or neutral, or maybe negative.

Time for work.

I have to pay $4.49 a gallon for gas today.  :'(

There are not a whole of things left for me to cut from my budget to pay for gas to and from work.
Me thinks moving to Ventura was not such a good idea.

Oh well, the weather is still beautiful.

 ;D

It's happening all over.  Olympia-area gas prices rise 15 cents in week, 35 cents in year.

:P

If you get your package, I'd consider not leaving negative feedback, unless you want to mention him changing the shipping fees, which you weren't obligated to give him in any case.

Today I went to a shop in the Cincinnati 'burbs for what was supposed to be a class on using Copic Markers, but was actually a private lesson because I was the only one who signed up.  Heather did a great job and I came home with some new toys to play with.  Afterwards I met Rob for lunch at Chipotle and did some shopping at Kenwood Towne Center.

I don't know about that. Once I posted and got the "too many connections" drivel, I could nither get back to my original post or exit without closing the window, so I lost the post.

Why does Time Warner insist on workers who may be friendly but have little connection with the English language to handle service issues? I'm trying to transfer over my AT&T account. I know it's going to end badly!
